If I get a good recommendation, I will give a stock pick that is guaranteed to deliver triple-digit returns.

China has so far to fall. in 2015/16, they fucking banned institutions from selling, and pumped in hundreds of billions until the numbers started to rise again. its a testament to how brittle their economy is. and that was during a time of global plenty. all their valuations hinge on government manipulation. they're due a near catastrophic collapse, and itll echo globally. maybe the US will be spared the worst of it, but we aren't getting off unscathed

Why would Warren Buffet dump Delta then. Whether you like it or not, the market follows momentum and he set momentum. There already was going to be a rally Monday to short squeeze due to the recent positive news, but this set the trend in stone.

The real state of affairs have nothing to do with market performance right now. It doesn't matter if corona is a nothingburger right now or if it will kill us all. The market isn't rational that way, it only cares about making a profit. Why keep going up when things are bad enough to get away with selling and shorting after a high that convinces others to sell too? Why run it up when you can make profits right now running up and down? It will take a lot of time for the markets to straight bull run again, don't think rationally. Think in terms of what makes the most profit by fucking the most people. That is how the jew do.

Q1 earnings can only be bullish when companies beat current expectations. Nobody is expecting anyone to have had a good Q1 or even have a good Q2. Current stock prices are basically priced around expectations of the asset in 3-4 months. Things that aren't priced in will almost have to be bullish, aside from natural disasters and wars (which nobody wants given COVID problems). It'll take time for the varying degrees of COVID problems in each country to actually start dragging the market down. Plus unlimited QE means if inflation happens stocks will keep high prices along with inflation that may happen.

kroger is doing store pickup like mad right now.
personally most of my expendable money in lockdown is going to better food, snacks, and i have a HUGE grocery bill because i don't eat out.

i think people will learn to cook in lock down, realize how many meals they can make at home, and when the virus is over KR will see sustained revenue growth.

that's not an opinion i see a lot on bloomberg, they all think people are going to rush back to restaurants. fuck that.

Worked appliance sales at HD for a while. All the big names are pretty even right now in quality. The Korean makes are trying gimmicky things to separate themselves--i.e. mini loaders, and touchscreens. If you don't want the prettiest thing, save a little and get a whirlpool/maytag or a GE. Believe it or not GE, despite it s other business failures, does appliances pretty well.

If you want the bells and whistles, get an LG. Samsung cuts corners at every opportunity to keep up with LG; They're anodized coating suck and at least until late, their materials were absolutely pathetic.

Just avoid Fridgidaire/Electrolux; their quality is garbage lately. Bosch is very VERY nice but I suspect they're priced to adjust for euro import taxes and so they're a little too expensive.

What triple digit ticker did I win?

NEW COVID-19 TREATMENT HOPES
Meanwhile, a blood-thinning drug which is already in use for heart attack and stroke victims, could reduce the number of deaths from COVID-19 and the demand for ventilators.

A new research paper has argued for clinical trials of the drug, which contains a protein called tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) which is ordinarily used to break up blood clots, on COVID-19 patients who are in acute respiratory distress.

The trials are based on emerging data from other countries that the COVID-19 patients have a profound disorder of blood clotting that is contributing to their respiratory failure even when they are on ventilators.

The lead author of the research Dr Michael Yaffe, A David H. Koch Professor of science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, said “if this were to work, which I hope it will, it could potentially be scaled up very quickly, because every hospital already has it in their pharmacy.”

“We don’t have to make a new drug, and we don’t have to do the same kind of testing that you would have to do with a new agent. This is a new drug that we already use. We are just trying to repurpose it.”

Dr Yaffe, said the research which appears in the Journal of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery, showed in a previous trial that 20 patients who were in respiratory distress so severe they were not expected to survive, were given the drug and 30 per cent of did survive.

“What we are hearing from our intensive care colleagues in Europe and in New York is that many of the critically ill patients with COVID-19 are hypercoagulable, meaning they are clotting off their IV’s and having kidney and heart failure from blood clots, in addition to lung failure,” said Dr Yaffe.

I sold my bearish portfolio and planned to stay in cash till the bottom, but bought back in one more time for what looked like too large of a pump. Instead, I was BTFO by another enormous pump and lost 30%. Then I bought into SCO at the peak of the pump on oil from Trump's tweet, only for oil to pump more the next day. Depending on tomorrow, I might get out with only losing 30% on that too.

I've lost all of my gains from the initial crash (I sold off everything just before it started for short positions), and am now down about 10%. I wasn't expected the market to crash more or suddenly again, but the current behavior is absolutely insane to me. There are days I expect a modest 0.5-1% loss, and instead we pump 3.5%. It's absolutely unpredictable beyond anything I've personally experienced. I'd rather go back to cash at this point, flipping a coin each day would be more consistent.

>COVID19 eradicated
lmao no
COVID19 is a new companion we will have walk with us for the rest of our journey as a species. We will domesticate it a bit, the strains that kill will themselves die off, killing your host is a bad strategy for a parasite. It will learn to be tamer, so that its hosts aren't stuck home, so that they go out and spread it, and we will domesticate it like we domesticated the flu and turned it from a cold blooded killer to an unfortunate week long stay in bed. But we are not eradicating it. Its too viral. We are too connected. And the world is too diversified in its strategy and economic ability, even if the virus just remains in 50 dudes in Africa it can explode from there. Reminder it only recently jumped to humans, and it was originally ONE PERSON who had it, and it has grown from that one dude outwards in a few months to conquer the planet. Good luck eradicating that.

Are they actually going to force them to cut their divvies if they don't do well in the stress test??

Bad earnings only matter if the investors through they'd be good. Its all about perception. Nobody thinks it will be good now, so even if its bad, thats expected. People buy in and stay in for the expected growth, not the immediate earnings.
