All you need to do is toggle Brave Rewards on (pic related). You don't need to set anything up just to earn BAT. 4chan being unverified just means you can't tip 4chan (you can but they won't receive anything until they get verified). You don't get rewarded BAT for visiting sites, but rather for getting Brave Ads (the little pop-up ads, bottom corner of your screen on Windows/top right on Mac). But yeah, all you need to do is toggle Brave Rewards on and you'll start earning. Cashing out/trading BAT for BTC is a little more complicated (need to register for Uphold/complete KYC).

You'd have to go through KYC on Uphold, so then your Brave earnings are deposited into a wallet on Uphold. From there you can trade it/cash out/etc. So you could earn 50 BAT on the browser and immediately transfer it to Coinbase/Binance to trade it for LINK or whatever.

It isn't a terrible idea whether or not you want to trade it for something else; If you want BAT to pump take it off of Uphold. The reason all this use can take place and the price can stay low is because Uphold has yet to purchase from outside of their exchange. Brave bought 1,000,000 BAT from Uphold in March and it didn't affect the price. When Uphold runs short of their custodial supply, they'll need to buy from the circulating market supply.

https://brave.com/ is a nice starting point - that's where you can download the browser. At the moment I don't think you can sync all your devices, but that is coming in the near future. So basically you can get Brave Browser on all your devices and earn BAT through toggling "Brave Rewards" on.

The beauty of Brave is that it 1) shuts down all malicious advertising so websites run faster and look cleaner, and 2) gives autonomy to the User regarding online advertising. Don't want to see ads at all? You can do that. Want to get paid for seeing ads (via BAT)? You can do that.

You can check through this thread to see how much people earn a month simply through having Brave ads on. I made roughly ~60-80 BAT I want to say, across all my devices.
