Yes. The stock market is for speculation and gambling. It is not a reflection of the economy. It is not the economy. It reacts to changes in the economy, these get priced in, and people continue to speculate to the point where what seems obvious cannot ever possibly be the way things shake out. Nobody wins when the winning move is too obvious. How many times do we have to go over this?

It’s like the market has nothing to do with businesses actually earning money anymore, it’s just this clown world casino where you either bet on the whole thing collapsing or for the fed to keep printing into the biggest asset bubble in history.
