>Expensive to live in
What do you mean by that? RE? The cost of living besides RE can't be as high as burgerland. The prices in the states for food & cloths have risen to Europe levels. Going out to eat used to be cheap...now its not.

Give me a brief run down, of your area if you don't mind. I wanna leave where i'm at & canada is one of my options as im a citizen.

In fact thinking about it, Not that I have issues with the police btw. How are you're police? I find the Burger police to be aggressive & like living in a police state.
How are the mounties?

Hang in there man. When this shit is over, promise me you'll start investing and saving more. Even if you have to squirrel tiny amounts into a TFSA to get capital going. This is going to happen again in a decade and you'll be ready for it and you wont be relying on anyone.

Mounties are actually great, but fuck our random protectretardsfromthemselves laws.

Mounties that you see on TV are in parade dress. On a normal day they're doing things the FBI would do -- bigger crime investigations. They're good guys.

Police are also good folk. The large majority of them aren't horny to make an arrest and are really just trying to make neighborhoods better. Toronto might be getting a little out of hand due to a crime bloom but those guys are trying too. Imagine friendly small town US cops with less racism and more de-escalation training.
