I failed calc 3 last semester. I never passed a single math class without failing it once (cal 1, 2 and linear). I figured I would pass it this time since, unlike the other math classes, I actually studied the second time. However I got 55 on the final and I needed 55.5 to pass. Do I quit chemical engineering to go in finance?

Calc can suck a dick.

Use your time in college to find something that you enjoy.
It's one thing to struggle for the sake of learning and overcome it,
its another to beat your head against a subject in the hopes that you'll finally pass it.

Well I do like finance but I just don't like the people in that field very much. Rarely known for their erudition. As for other things I enjoy, there are but not all of them offer me a way to consolidate wealth over a few years.

you’re not disciplined

That is true. I don't have any enjoyment doing maths. I like physics and my other engineering classes but I particularly hate math because I have no way of visualising it.

Being bad at math isn't low iq. I did really really bad in math in high school and then suddenly when I got into college I started getting As probably partly because I actually gave a fuck my first 3 semesters.

Why do you need strangers on the internet to tell you what to do?

Check out 3blue1brown, he explains a lot of topics with geometry. You have to take it seriously, you’re spending time and money

Chem E grad here. I quit the field after 3 years working in it and now do programming stuff. Also pursuing my MBA. Between the union worker abuse/mentality of not being able to be fired, constant safety concerns, and long ass hours for the same salary I make working 40 hours a week in a “feelings first” air conditioned office, the only thing I regret about leaving Chem E is not doing it sooner.

That being said, I always feel like people respect my intelligence when I tell them I have a Chem E degree. Your experience may vary, but if you’re asking the question at all, it may not be for you.

Whatever you do, don’t major in math. Unless you enjoy the prospect of teaching and literally nothing else.

Finance will give you a broad range of jobs.
Accounting will always be needed.
Economics only if you plan on getting a masters.

I'm trying to find a way to change my grades using inspect element and make them permanent locally with some chrome extension for java injections. I've never coded tho so I'm completely clueless

I'm like Opie and took some STEMtard courses to be pragmatic and because muh money and it was shilled on /pol/ and /fit/ alot but I absolutely hate it. I feel sick and have heart palpitations every time I start trying to study.

I didn't attend a single class before Corona and I didn't do a single assignment due to crippling autism. I thought I would just spend a week studying ahead and then come back as a know it all and help all the girls in the class too but I kept pushing it back and back until I missed the midterm and so on
