there isn't, that's mainly a problem with bitcoin, you can pay transaction accelerators with eth and credit cards.
In a few months average fees are going to be burned, ensuring eth is necessary on a protocol level. Did you know btc isn't? There's nothing stopping miners from putting transactions without any bitcoin.
