You can't deny though, it really doesn't make any sense.

Yes it does, the fed is sponsoring it. If The supercharged unemployment stops, say goodbye to your gains. People selling to pay their bills will decimate the markets. We are driven by normies after all.

Why not?

Tech stocks aside, average companies are down 10-30% still.

Are future discounted cash flows going decades into the future down 10-30%? No. On top of that rates are lower

I'm not a bear, but I know a scam in progress when I see one. I'll stay in cash and precious metals for a couple years if necessary.

The current climate of irrationality, weakness, and capitulation to ideological terrorists does not bode well for the short term health of the USA.

Most countries only had 1 & 1/2 month of "Shabbat" and only closed their economy for that time.
So you are telling me that the economy cant handle 1 or 2 months of economic progress?
Cmon.

The problems with the economy are multi faceted. I have done my own research and do not feel comfortable putting any significant amount of cash into mutual funds at the moment.

That's actually bullish: all the cheapies you buy up and then sell at the first stop loss past your target price.

Excellent, the arrogant teenagers who think that they're clever for putting their birthday money in Robinhood during the most obvious fucking bubble of the last 50 years are finally at the euphoria stage. 2 more months at the most. :)

yep. retail investors are the ones driving this shit up. it will correct and they will be fleeced of their money.

I work in pensions, I can assure you 100% that boomers who haven't been paid rent in 3 months, who have grandparents begging for money, who have concerns their funds will drop to 0 soon... They are all on the cusp of transferring out. It's all going to happen very fast and seemingly right as everything is 'going back to how it was'. This isn't my first rodeo, I was an adult in 2008 unlike half of you idiot kids

>> No.19568924

how hard you reckon? I was an adult in 08 but didn't give a fuck/ wasn't interested at the time, unlike now.

The supercharged unemployment benefits are what's keeping unemployment high. That and the fact that people literally cannot go to work.

>>19569686
Except we aren't because the USD is the reserve currency. There is a global demand for USD and until that changes hyperinflation isn't even real. We are actually in a deflationary stage because people who got stimulus weren't spending enough.

I actually would love a second dip though since I was just DCA into an index the first time around and didn't pick up any individual stocks for super cheap en mass
