The Vether contract was hacked and it fucked with the pool cause all the vether was gone which allowed it to get drained. Not uniswaps fault

The protocols were not hacked. Problem was shitcoins being shitcoins. It's gonna happen in a permissionless protocol. Only ones affected are retards who bought shitcoins so it doesn't matter for actual defi projects.

the price is down 99.99% because its reporting from the liquidity pool that was drained using the stolen tokens, not because anyone is trading it at that price. he's reimbursing the people who had pooled ethereum in the uniswap pool, which he doesn't have to. additionally, the exploit that took place is unrelated to any "report", it was due to a logical error introduced during the upgrade process. doesn't make it better but at least be accurate
