The hacker made 15 eth by dumping his stolen coins (stolen from the token contact, which has nothing to do with uniswap) on uniswap... he made a few k not hundreds you brainlets

>> No.20051725

Uniswap wasn’t hacked retards
The Vether contract was hacked and it fucked with the pool cause all the vether was gone which allowed it to get drained. Not uniswaps fault

>> No.20051769

>>20051004
The protocols were not hacked. Problem was shitcoins being shitcoins. It's gonna happen in a permissionless protocol. Only ones affected are retards who bought shitcoins so it doesn't matter for actual defi projects.

>> No.20051870

listen up kids, nothing has been 'hacked' in these pooldrainings.
the loopholes where found & exploited.
sta deserved it, a token burn at every transaction is idiotic & the example is clear.

He didn’t pay back in eth of course; he reimbursed them tokens which are down 99.999% after the hack

>> No.20053524

>>20053355
the price is down 99.99% because its reporting from the liquidity pool that was drained using the stolen tokens, not because anyone is trading it at that price. he's reimbursing the people who had pooled ethereum in the uniswap pool, which he doesn't have to. additionally, the exploit that took place is unrelated to any "report", it was due to a logical error introduced during the upgrade process. doesn't make it better but at least be accurate
