I always wondered how these things have any hope of not being shut down. I mean, not trying to FUD here, feel free to correct me. Platforms like this are 100% asking for pedos to discuss, share, freely host CP. Without centralization and will full anonymity, how the fuck is anyone going to stop them? They're the ones who care most about being able to post uncensored and untraceable messages so there's absolutely no way to stop them.

I'm being honest here. Can you answer this? If they can't get past this hurdle, which is inherently impossible due from what I gather, then how can they be expected to have the project not be immediately canned the moment it gains steam from the pedos?

nah, he scammed everyone and ran off..... but it rises again now because some other guy has stepped in to set it right. some billionaire who owns some sort of successful crypto company. forgot his name so you have to research it, should be todays recent news about sushi.

Jfc let it fucking die already, it’s going to prop gas prices back up again

look at tor
the government didn't need to shut it down
instead they run a lot of the nodes so they can eventually track the pedos and the ones doing illegal stuff if they want

>> No.22275163

>>22275025
So what you're telling me is I can make an easy buck off this if I buy a shitload, advertise it on Tor to pedos as the next best thing, and just wait for the buy spike from pedos + the government to drive up the price? And then what, another one comes up and it just becomes whack-a-mole? You don't think at a certain point there won't just be regulation against ANYONE developing or investing in this kind of tech? Come now.

sushi is a fork of yam and it's not even a rebasing protocol, shit's static, complete garbage
when yamv3 is released in 2 weeks, gl trying to find forks of a protocol with an elastic supply and treasury, only competition is ample with 50% of its protocol owned by ICO and founders.

I'm being serious here. You think any normies will oppose regulations on banning CP infested decentralization protocols? You think governments are just going to willingly play the game of cat and mouse with these networks, buying up large enough swaths of them to essentially centralize them and defeat their purpose? What is the end game of these projects?

I want to believe these projects would take off. I'd like to invest into them. I'd like to believe in the future being a truly decentralized internet with no glownigger presence and pure wild-wild-west levels of self governing. But if you haven't been living under a rock this past decade you'd see that the general trend is governments around the world cracking down HARDER on unregulated networks. As much as I believe in the concept, I don't believe in any powerful nation allowing its users to freely use them without punishment. I'd imagine even being caught using it would eventually be grounds for legal penalty even if there's no proof you've done anything wrong on it; similarly to how possession of drugs is inherently illegal even if they can't prove you've been selling or using them.

Theres already working systems being used to track criminals through the blockchain. Supposedly they don't work like "this guy is here because the call came from inside the house", but more like "this transfer has an 88% chance of coming from this location/wallet/person/etc", and then they investigate further. That's not even counting the CIA/FBI/prism backdoors that are most likely already built into BTC, ETH and all the big exchanges.

I'm running a node to mine some of this shitcoin but not putting money into it. We'll see if the project takes off, but I still have my doubts. Will see how much I get in rewards.
