when did BSV become a serious project? I haven't used twetch yet because I thought it was a troll/scam but I looked at powping and found interesting stuff being done on bsv with script. A good community of smart devs making tokens and contracts. If you ignore all the csw stuff then I would say bsv could be undervalued.

What else is being made on bsv that you all know of? How many people are active in the community? give me some insights biz.

Also, why hasn't coinbase listed it yet?

>why hasn't coinbase listed it yet?
probably for the same reasons no other reputable exchanges lists calvins tawdry little scam.
>ignore all the csw stuff
unless he can bullshit his way into the Satoshi coins, that is? BUT if that don't work out, just ignore creg, bsv is an entirely serious outfit otherwise?
as the chinks would say, go boil yourself dawg

I would guess they'll just copy any innovative things coming out of ETH development. The fact that dumbass Calvin Ayre tried to use Craig Wright to larp as Satoshi and claim that BitDNS was the original design for Bitcoin was a complete mistake. He should of just called it the Ayre Platform or something and offered it as a SHA256 competitor to Ethereum. That Craig Wright stunt has probably ruined his chances to do something big.

https://ethresear.ch/t/bitcoin-cash-a-short-term-data-availability-layer-for-ethereum/5735

Vitalik himself proposed using bch as the data layer for ETH. Bsv and eth will work together just fine but bsv could much more useful as a data/micropayment layer. I dont care about Craig wright. I also think blockstream will try to copy whatever bsv is doing with sidechains but what it really comes down to is immutability and being able to monetize a piece of data for a very long time. Just based on principle they aren't going to host a shit load of data on their sidechain so it won't be immutable.

I don't think there will be too much crossplatform work between ETH and BSV. Especially seeing that everything done on BSV is funded and essentially managed by Calvin Ayre. BSV will just copy the projects from ETH. I agree that BTC will probably turn something like Liquid into a BSV type chain.

>I agree that BTC will probably turn something like Liquid into a BSV type chain.

But why would they want to hold huge amounts of data for free?

>I don't think there will be too much crossplatform work between ETH and BSV.

Its not that hard to do in any case. If BSV users want to do eth style contracts they can just make their own sidechain and nobody will have to argue about turing completeness shit any more.

>Especially seeing that everything done on BSV is funded and essentially managed by Calvin Ayre.

Source? What about twetch or unwriter?

Stop spreading relevant info about this gem to 4channelers. Keep fuding like the rest of us. You should've noticed by now, that BSV FUD in here is of very low quality, just like 4channelers fudded LINK to reddit, this time it just happens on a bigger scale.

If u dont already hold at least 1000 BSV then you failed the IQ test and will not make it

I just see it as an app and data storage company that will always just poach ETH. I don't even see why Calvin is running it the manner he is when he could have just built something that works without the retarded claims.

BSV has to win the hard way. It's going for utility over hype whereas everything else is going for the reverse strategy of hyping their coin but not actually having any scale or a solution. Once a certain point is reached people will start to realize what is going on, but it takes time. The haters have actually done BSV a favor by fudding it so much because if you're smart you can accumulate cheap Bitcoin while most people are distracted by the noise.

>What else is being made on bsv that you all know of?
There is a ton of projects going on, i'll mention some of the more interesting imo

streamanity.com is a nice youtube substitute where content creators end up being paid more than on youtube, and you get revenue share by sharing videos, a bunch of bsv youtubers have moved there

peergame.com is a verifiably fair online casino, entirely on chain, think early satoshi dice but with better graphics

If you want a list of bsv apps you can browse agora.icu, a collection of bsv apps layed out like an online operating system (click on the app store on top left), or metastore.app , laid out like an app store.

Bsv is having big growth in asia too, for example tocial.io which is basically a chinese onlyfans (wouldnt suggest using it though, since its all chinese content).

Check the bsv hackatons for interesting upcoming projects, for example
codugh.com - making it easy for developers to monetize their apis, get paid for every api call (i am in the private beta and can confirm it works great)

Personally I'm now building an on-chain stumbleupon alternative, where you can share interesting webpages, and get paid for every like they get, and stumble across the most liked webpages. Building on bsv is a true pleasure with all the dev tools and apis.

If you wanna join twetch here's an invite:
https://twet.ch/inv/46b56213

>How many people are active in the community?
I'd say a few thousand at this point, with the main issue being that the community is a bit split across different platforms:
Some are on https://www.reddit.com/r/bitcoincashsv which is probably the better bsv subreddit but not very active, then twetch and some slacks, mainly the metanet.icu slack (for csw followers, need to pay membership and have a member vouch for you) or the Atlantis bsv slack (for bsv deveopers/startuppers).

If you have any more questions on the ecosystem ask away, there's a lot more.

Forget calvin and forget craig. I know it's hard if you're someone that responds to social validation, but try to look at the tech on its own.

>> No.22349807

>>22349709
it's funny cause most of the people on twetch and streamanity hate craig lol.
Which is great validation imo, money and tech are good only if they are so good that even your enemies and competitors end up using it
