NAK is a permit-gamble, so never something which you would want to go all in on. If you buy something like Impact, you know that you're purchasing a massive property which is already producing silver, whereas if NAK gets denied, it simply goes to zero. But the potential of NAK is so enormous that it's hard to resist the temptation to have some sort of share in the company.

TFmetals report

>> No.22347557

>>22347486

The best way to answer your question is to look at the market-caps of the companies which we often talk about here.

First Majestic: $3 billion
MAG Silver: $2 billion
Silvercrest: $1.5 billion
NAK: $650 million
Discovery Metals: $650 million
McEwen: $600 million
Alexco: $500 million
Impact: $120 million
Bayhorse: $20 million

So the size of Alexco and DSV is somewhere between the larger producers (like FSM and Silvercrest) and the small-cap producers (like Impact and Bayhorse).

Lower small-caps obviously yield greater potential. We can imagine BHS going 150x and getting to $3 billion a lot more easily than we can e. g. First Majestic going 150x and going to $450 billion (which would be 7x larger than Newmont, the largest miner in the world).

>> No.22347618

>>22347557

P. S. Would add to this, the appeal of NAK is that Pebble has more metal in it than all of Newmont Mining's mines combined. So despite the fact that 500 million is a relatively high market-cap, we can actually imagine it going 150x and reaching Newmont's $70 billion market-cap. However, as I say, if NAK gets denied, the stock goes to zero.

>> No.22347697

>>22347260
Yeah, I agree with >>22347334, in essence treat whatever you put into NAK and others like it as throwing money into the wind; only put in what you can afford to lose and treat it as lost until you're in the green.
Kinda like crypto, but non-suicidal, since at the end of the day they'll always keep going for more permits as oppose to being open exit scams.

You invest in McEwen with one question in mind: "Do you believe that Rob McEwen, the genius behind GoldCorp, can turn his own company into a major?" That's what the blue-sky potential is. McEwen Mining has had some implementation problems, and carries debt, but Rob McEwen is entirely committed to the project, and has gone all in on it with his own personal fortune.

Don't know any specific details about the company, but what I will say is that GNYPF appears to be an ultra-low-cap drill play. Sprott sinks $100,000 or so into a fair number of companies like this; Genesis Metals is another example of the same sort of company which he has invested in. This leads people to make the mistaken assertion that he "throws money at everything," which is untrue. He puts most of his money in a select few companies. For example, he has 62 million dollars in Discovery Metals. So you will want to treat a stock like this in the way in which he treats it, as a gamble into which you only put a small amount of your money.

Last year they had to slow things down due to local groups, but they dropped another press release in jan 2020 stating those concerns were met and they are starting drilling soon. tl;dr Phyiscal gold is about to skyrocket while paper gold is about to crash, hard. There's almost double the amount of traded (paper IOU-this-much-gold notes) gold on the stock markets than there is actual gold on the entire planet; the entire thing's a pozi scheme which is shortly about to collapse as the COMEX can no longer fulfil the deliveries for the Gold people cash out with
tl;dr 2; Gold always does well in negative economies/recessions as a safehaven investment, spiking to 2-3 times it's baseline balue in 'normal' economies, and with extremely obvious peaking points to sell at (as oppose to Silver, which has the ability to peak multiplicatively higher, but at the downside of being much more volitile and harder to predict). When an economy recovers is pretty much the only time the price of Gold goes down, also making it an extremely easy investment to monitor if you just want to buy and forget about it for a few years with an obvious market signal anyone can see coming.
tl;dr 3; Gold is flat out the safest investment you can make on the market, continually ahead of the rate of inflation and never really going down. On one hand, outside of crashes and recessions it's the least profitable way tomake money (since the value of your asset against Gold literally never changes), however at the same time it's the safest possible investment and essentially free money generation for as long as you hold it.
tl;dr 4; it looks and feels really fucking good

If you want to know more, you'll need to be more specific, but that's the shortest I can condense it down for you.

1) The CEO of Impact Silver bought the property specifically because he's a silver bull who anticipated this silver bull market. He openly talks about COMEX manipulation.

2) Impact has lasted for 14 years and produced for 10, while most of its competitors have gone bankrupt.

3) No debt and a lot of cash.

4) Owns one of the largest mining districts in Mexico. 357 square kilometers. That's more than twice as large as the country of Liechtenstein. Exploration potential is enormous.

5) The property is also the second-oldest mining district in Mexico. Cortez is said to have hidden there once. There are 4,500 historic silver mines on the property, going all the way back to the time of Cortez.

6) Q2 2020 earnings for Impact were better than Q2 2019, despite the fact that coronavirus lockdowns shut it down for half the quarter. And Q3 has had $27-dollar-silver.

7) Market-cap is only $120 million. Compare this with the $3 billion market-cap of First Majestic.

This is something I'd put in my quarter bin. The trick with this issue is the grade, they need to be nice to net anything over 5$. Mid 19th century french coppers are very cheap- you can buy an 1849 centime nearly uncirculated for 10-15$.

Added pic related to the Gun Safe Stack yesterday. It's pretty kawaii, desu.

I was wondering: with all the talk of converting your metals to other assets during the collapse, does anyone know how exactly to do that? I imagine it would be
>convert metals to fiat
>exchange fiat for whatever

I also thing the safer bet would be:
>take out loan with metals as collateral
>use loan to buy shit

This is assuming the banks change their tune on some things. I know a lot of banks won't accept silver (or other commodities) as collateral because they're "too volatile."

Anyone have any more detailed plans?

I’m gonna try and get a surprising number for that Ben coin, I think with how it’s graded it maybe could compete with some 65s, I’ve seen others graded at that that had more diminishes than mine, I don’t think the reflective seal does it justice. I’ll get a better picture and take that and see what you, or others think that that are lurking here.

That said I don’t plan on selling any of the other ones or getting more, I’m just going through old stuff, I even found a 1920s Mexican Revolution sword so just trying to figure out all this junk.

Silver One, like Aurcana, DSV, and Impact, is an essential silver stock. Everybody should have it in their portfolio.

"140 Million Ounces of Silver and Just Getting Started - Greg Crowe" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zy7x1mmVbR8&ab_channel=KerryLutz%27sFinancialSurvivalNetwork

Tinka is dipping now because zinc is temporarily falling, but people who hold with patience will be rewarded. The 60 million ounces of silver in the ground + exploration potential in the Colqui silver zone have not been priced in by the market yet. It will only take some good drilling results and or good marketing to make it soar. The reason why the stock hasn't moved it because TK has done zero marketing. Peru is also a good district to diversify into if you are overweighted in North America.

I've pointed out the two following facts in other threads:

1) In the 01-11 PM bull market, the _index_ of _all_ gold stocks went up 1700%. That includes bad stocks and large caps.

2) The average silver penny stock went 160x between '62 and '68, when silver doubled.

(Source: https://www.historylink.org/File/8883))

We saw something similar from 01 to 11: First Majestic, for example, which was a small-cap at the time, went 150x.

If silver not only doubles this time, but the GSR reverts to 1:15, it would not surprise me to see stocks like BHS and Impact Silver going 400x or more, or stocks like DSV going 50x and becoming the Kirkland Lakes of silver.

>I've thought about getting into gems but they're not exactly liquid and there's no worldwide standard on price.

Unless you can collect raw high-grade gemstones or specimens yourself, I'd avoid the realm. Basically everyone working a gem mine maintains artificial scarcity by controlling the flow of
their stones (like Debeers and their diamonds) into the market. If you buy from such sources your "investments" will always be manipulated/influenced by the future decisions of the producers, and also the whims of global fashion.

I'm actually staking a claim on a nice steatite (soapstone) deposit in a known corundum (Ruby/sapphire) district near me. Everyone competes for the colorful gems but my soft buttery ~2 mohs steatite carving stone (for making traditional peace pipes, sculptures etc) is worth 1.50-2 bucks a pound all day and I can just pick up 50 tons of big loose chunks before even beginning the hardrock quarrying process. If you buy rocks from the producers you'll always be exposed to the repercussions of their business decisions, it's best to produce your own if you want to "invest" or profit.

Definitely lucrative but you'd need to navigate the already-established dangerous greedy nosebergs as well as violent stupid African insurgent groups.

DESU I'd focus on a sourcing strategy much safer and more wholesome, like identifying a poor but relatively safe village in south America located near gemstone or semiprecious lapidary deposits, and setting up a "purchasing office" (dude with cell/internet to weigh stones, pay locals, and prep shipments) to collect the goodies and ship to you to sell at retail or offer in bulk to end-users like jewelry manufacturers/workshops. If you treat the locals right they'll happily go find what you're buying.

mornin, also please dont attempt this. Those that mine and sell conflict diamonds already have stable deals with specific clients, and wont be selling to a westerner. One of the guys I went to university with is a gemologist / mineral trader who gets paid to hunt the world for specific gemstones for clients in Belgium and London. Diamonds are one of those gemstones that you dont get involved in, its too dangerous to try and worm your way into the networks, heck most of the time the peasant miners wont even talk to you. The gem trade is one of the darkest parts of the world market, and not something you can just pop into without insider help.

1) Bayhorse provides you with a 100%-controlled real working silver mine, in a safe jurisdiction (Oregon), at a ridiculously cheap market-cap of only $20 million. (Compare this with the $3 billion of First Majestic, or the market-caps of many explorers which are 10x higher, but don't even have a mine yet.)

2) There are 4 PhD geologists working on the project.

3) The CEO of Bayhorse owns a large number of the shares himself. He passionately believes in the project.

4) He spent $7 million in getting the mine to work, via a creative use of technology, as against the $20-30 million which would ordinarily have been expected. He is very careful with money.

5) We know of at least 6.4 million ounces in reserve, but this number is based on outdated information, and is likely to be substantially higher; at least double.

6) Besides the Bayhorse property in Oregon, BHS has a second property called Brandywine with considerable exploration potential.

McEwen has very strong potential as well, including as a silver stock, but it's less of a pure silver play than DSV, BHS, or IMP.

Allocate your portfolio according to your convictions about silver. If you believe that silver is going up with 100% certainty, and you are willing to lose 100% of your money, then invest in those three stocks. I don't know of any better ones. Otherwise, keep some money in the larger producers like Pan American and Newmont, so that you can benefit from a PM bull market without risking everything.

Agree 100%, every coin is different and some, especially crusty ancient Greek and Roman coins or shipwreck silver, absolutely require proper cleaning in order to net top dollar. It basically seems like the "Never clean!!!" types are 11 year old tards who are regurgitating what they just heard on some basic-bitch chump collector's crappy YouTube channel the day before. Obviously dipping in acetone etc to remove centuries of oils/grease/dirt doesn't ruin anything, but these kids now are pretty damn stupid and think it's all equivalent to scouring with steel wool.

It's one person posting about BHLL. I don't have anything against BHLL, simply don't know much about it, but what I will say is that the high price in 2011 is no different from that of any number of other silver stocks which have collapsed since that time. For example, look at Klondike Silver. Was 13 CAD in 2011, now is 0.07 CAD, so it used to be 200x higher. But unless we know what the market-caps of these stocks were in 2011 (before dilution), and what their assets were in 2011, as against what they are now, their previous prices are often unhelpful or meaningless.

>>22355734

I've said before that you could throw darts at stock-names with the word "silver" in them right now and still be pretty sure of making a fortune. Some are better than others, but we are so early in this bull market that every silver stock except the absolutely worst-run incompetent scams are still dirt-cheap as value-investments. I think that some stocks are far better than others, however, and those are the ones which I have recommended here.

He liked to sell there cause he was partial to black ladies, he would go over to the east bay and give them his business. Had to stop cause he was getting rolled to much. Was very happy when the house of ill repute in Winnamucca hired a POC.
Anyway, he ran the uhaul until the final trip when the bearings exploded and he was stuck with three tons of Disaster Peak's finest on the side of I 80. He died in a trailer, I do believe.

Michael Oliver rightly says that all commodities are going to boom in this coming bull market. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AbYC2b2FTas&ab_channel=PalisadeRadio Anybody who owns commodities of any kind is going to make a fortune over the next ten years. I simply don't see the point in owning anything other than silver, when silver is going to outperform everything else so vastly.

Genuinely cool story bro, thanks for typing it out. Those tough old-school rockhounds were a different breed, the ones I knew basically died out by the '90s. I'm in Wyoming, surrounded by pretty good mining districts but the state itself is one of the mineralogically poorest or least exploited of the west, still panned me some gold here though and some of our petrified wood (like from the blue Chalcedony fossil forest) and Green River fish fossils are truly some of the most lovely stuff on earth.

>Anybody who owns commodities of any kind is going to make a fortune over the next ten years. I simply don't see the point in owning anything other than silver, when silver is going to outperform everything else so vastly.

Basically this, however a bit of "diversification within the paradigm" is a good idea. I don't trust gold personally, instinctively don't really trust my silver stocks/ETFs either, and definitely think crypto is a retarded pyramid scheme but hold some of all in case my core physical silver position doesn't perform for some reason. The Uranium miner shills are right about the basically below-cost uranium market prices being unsustainable and due for a correction much like silver so that's a worthwhile diversification, and I'm also trying to figure out the agricultural commodity markets as smart players there will probably be profitable going forward too, anyone have good tips?

Yep sounds like it, I'm a silver permashill so will always recommend getting more as I consider it to be a superb long term investment in addition to a monetary hedge like gold, but either way we're in this for different reasons and with different long term strategies than the kiddies trying to get rich quick in tech and crypto bubbles or whatever.

In December, before the world went to shit, I told a friend that id much rather have a metric ton of silver buried in my basement on 40 acres of good diverse rolling farm/timberland I own outright (ideally in a county with no building codes besides septic) than be living in a 50th floor penthouse in Manhattan with 10 million in the market but no land or real assets. Can't say the events of the year have done anything but crystallize my opinion on the matter.
