Hey, new to investing. Been lurking a while and bought 100oz 2020 Silver Kangaroos. I've been engaging in discussions here on the last few /pmg/ threads and got happily spoonfed. I'm counting on you guys, sate my thirst for knowledge. I was planning on buying mining stocks but I have a couple of questions and hesitations holding me back.
1) When I search for a mining company (for example Bayhorse) they usually show their stock in US and Canadian markets. The course is the same and the price is the same, and I'd like to buy from the US markets because my broker has slightly higher fees for Canadian market. But nobody is buying or selling the US stocks. What does this mean? Can I only buy the Canadian stocks because the company is based there?
2) Would now be a good time to buy miners? If stocks plummet, the miners will take a hit too right? Should I hold out on miners?
3) Shouldn't I just buy short-term debts to at least get my money back? Stocks seem very volatile now.
4) Top 5 miners with great potential for returns? I don't mind moderate risk. I plan to use the Buffet strategy of investing into multiple high reward stocks. Feel free to post your other favorites as well even if they're low reward though, I would appreciate that too.
5) I'm aware miners as an investment require a lot of research (thankfully turbochads like Pan Man are here) and I would like to do my own reading as well before making an investment. Where do I get good information on a particular company?

Thank you in advance kind metal men

Different anon here. Go to ceo.ca. Pretty much every mining company is in their database. Find the ones u r interested in & read up on them. Pay special attention to their market cap, share structure (warrants, options, etc), & financial statements (Sedar docs). For example in Bayhorse last quarter financial statement, the auditor states they could go bankrupt. Their debt is double their assets. They need cash bad & will probably issue new shares diluting the value of current shareholders. All this info is available on ceo.ca. Sorry for the blog post

Can someone tell me why this monetary clownshow is still running? QE infinity, idiots FOMOing into stocks, and bond yields at all time lows, and people are still unironically believing that the dollar is a stable store of value.

Why hasn't the entire house of cards collapsed yet? Why hasn't COMEX defaulted yet?

I'm pissed, not at the fact that metals haven't mooned, but more that you have assholes at the top of things (bankers, VCs, tech bros etc.) who are able to kick this can down the road further so they can continue producing nothing but raking in all the fiat through easy money and pricing everyone else out. It's such a fucking scam and I hope fiat collapses soon so people can finally see that the emperor has no clothing to speak of.

Looking good man, I honestly didn't know they still made "International Trade" type rounds, got some from the early 80s.

Honestly those cannon bars are pretty plain but most important is silver content, you don't want sentimental attachment or whatever interfering with future bullion plays, though with your planned generic/meme ratio you should be ok. In my opinion, getting 90% silver constitutional coin is very important especially for holders of smaller stacks. The most liquid, well recognized and easily exchanged form of silver in the US is pre-1965 coin so having some for contingencies/barter would be wise. If you buy at coin shops (probably $20-21 for 1.00 face right now) it's among the lowest premium silver that's easily available right now. Walking liberty halves and "mercury" dimes are beautiful too, very nice to have just avoid the heavily worn ones.

regarding bayhorse. I inquired about it a couple threads ago and this was the response.

Gave the case for BHS in another thread, I'll just repeat the post:

1) Bayhorse Silver provides you with a 100%-controlled real working silver mine, in a safe jurisdiction (Oregon), at a ridiculously cheap market-cap of only $20 million. (Compare this with the $3 billion market cap of First Majestic, or the market-caps of many explorers which are 10x higher, but don't even have a mine yet.)

2) The CEO of Bayhorse owns a large number of the shares himself, and passionately believes in the project.

3) He spent $7 million in getting the mine to work, via a creative use of technology, as against the $20-30 million which would ordinarily have been expected. He is very careful with money.

4) He has been interviewed by silver bulls like David Morgan, and is trusted in the silver community.

5) There are 4 PhD geologists working on the project.

6) We know of at least 6.4 million ounces in reserve, but this number is based on outdated information, and is likely to be substantially higher; at least double.

7) Besides the Bayhorse property in Oregon, BHS has a second property called Brandywine with considerable exploration potential. Ten diamond drill holes are planned there. Visible gold was found in Brandywine samples taken in 2019

Yep I'm around 1:1,000 gold:silver bullion ratio. I don't hate gold or anything but taking the relative above-ground reserves and 1Au:8Ag mining ratio into account, coupled with the ever-increasing tech/industrial needs for producing solar, batteries, computers and electronics through this century silver is a no-brainer. Billions of ounces of gold are squirreled away in the vaults of banks, gov'ts and Jews which basically creates artificial scarcity and allows for interminable central manipulation.

Physical silver is much more widely distributed and mostly in the hands of us regular plebs, not central bank vaults, so I'm betting on the whole scheme becoming untenable soon resulting in wealth and power flowing back to those who've kept a tight grip on it. Possible runaway inflation will just make things even more exciting. Pretty basic bitch take on things DESU, but I sleep well at night.

I’m at about 700:1 Ag:Au and 115:1 Ag:Pt. View a deminus amount of gold as prudent but when the Ag:Au ratio was north of 110 I traded part of my Au for Ag and stacked additional Ag.

See silver as being the core of my PM position, a token amount of gold for gold’s sake, and my platinum and silver miners as being the more speculative components.

I definitely agree with you about not wasting excess money on novelty silver coins. For me, It justifies maybe 4 bucks over ask for something I really want. My "Come and Take it" coin I think was $34, which is a lot over ask right now. I'm just now getting into trying to scalp ebay deals from reputable sellers, if they go a dollar or two above a set price i kind of makeup (doesn't have to be daily silver price, i usually cap it at 30) i give up on it. Ruining it for everyone else I think.

We talked about it yesterday, but back in March, a Democrat (Maxine Waters - California) tried to include a Fed Digital Dollar in the first stimulus bill. Pic related.

Since Dems usually favor greater central control, this will probably be implemented under Biden, thus removing the commercial banks as the intermediary and cock-blocker of the current monetary inflation goals.

Here is the full text:
https://www.congress.gov/bill/116th-congress/house-bill/6321/text
Note the part 5) about FUNDING, where it says gibs money will be literally printed by the Fed (as opposed to bank reserves + lending). This will give Fed much greater control over inflation, which is a guaranteed policy target given our national debt and like >>22418553 says, even MORE gibs under Biden. So basically, very bullish for PMs, not considering the manipulation that will surely be forced on prices.

An anon in the last thread asked about the FOMC meeting and how it may effect PMs next week. Here's a chart with breaks in the sections of the last 3 FOMC meetings. We went up $3 between April and June meeting, then went up over $6 between the June and July, currently up $2.50 since the July meeting. In the past 3 meetings it doesn't seem like they have an immediate bullish effect on PMs, but they have a good run in the medium term. I'm guessing since it takes some time for people to digest what they are saying. But all of this could be thrown out the window too if Powell announces something big next Wednesday. Just thought it would be interesting to see what's happened between meetings.

This is the most beautiful thing on the internet. They are hoarding silver as they lie through their snake fangs.

Yep I was right again, 17.78g sterling silver and 4.04g 10 karat gold for $15.60 total.

I don't even look for dirt cheap gold but won't turn it down of course as I also get 1/10 oz rounds returned from my refinery.

Seriously guys it ain't hard, keep an open mind as lucrative opportunities are everywhere.
