I can't tell if you agree with this sentiment or not but it is %110 true. DO NOT go in to debt to buy pm's, buy what you can afford when you can. If you think you can time anything and the moon mission is a "sure thing" in a specific time frame you are going to be disappointed. If you keep hedging your bet and stashing some bit by bit without hurting your bottom line you will be much happier overall and in the end. Hindsight is always 20/20, bottom line is they are STILL exchanging monopoly money for something that his real intrinsic value. PM's ARE NOT a get rich quick scheme like the crypto fags think their funny money is. If they don't sell when they are up they still have NOTHING. When you hold PM's you always have wealth.

Do you feel the bubble stretching, tearing at the seams already? If yes, buy physical gold and/or silver now. If you feel like the economy can keep going without a crash for a few more years and that people will start to believe in the markets, wait for PM's to go down and then buy

>> No.22915769

I agree 100%.

Due to premiums when buying (and negative premiums when selling), it's not something you can quickly buy and sell. You have to wait a while to even break even. So if you're going into debt to buy and then have to quickly sell (because you really need the money), you're usually going to be at a loss.

Agree with the rest you said.

Mining by hand verse explosives and massive machinery
threading together cloth by hand and sewing by candle light verse modern machinery
There'll be something to be said about population growth and _______, but 1800 and 2000 products for PM can't be apples to apples.

>How did you all start?

Eased into the market. I guess if I wanted to sound smart I’d say I dollar-cost-averaged in but in reality I just did multiple purchases over the course of a few months.

If you’ve been tracking PMs you’ll have an idea of where the metals have been crabbing recently and start to get a feel for the dips...think silver being slammed down last week.

Anyways if I was just starting I’d figure out how much I wanted to invest, make sure I could hold (I see PMs as a savings position vs a trading position...not saying I would NOT trade PMs, but goal is to hold them for the long-term) and then decide how much time I wanted to allot to build my position.

For example if I wanted to $10k I might target $1k per week. If PMs were close to highs I might throttle my weekly goal back to $750, if it fell to a low perhaps I pick up $1.5k...you get the idea.

The rise of DeFi sadly brought more short-term experimental projects than ones with fundamental long-term value. Developers with enough Solidity knowledge were quick to purchase Finance and food-themed domains only to convert them into copycats for a quick buck. Some of them, managed to even become one of the leading DeFi projects for a short time by copying protocols with a strong community like Uniswap.

Its going to be a long bumpy road for Bunker Hill, but a resource like that so close to easy infrastructure and a population base wanting mining back, they will get it going. What I want to see is Bunker Hill buy out some of the other mothballed small scale silver mines / mills around their project and combine it all into one major project area. There are 26 silver mines currently in mothball status waiting for investment to bring them back online and a trained work force to mine for them. A few of those mines operating from the same vein strike as the Bunker Hill could pay for the work to bring the Bunker Hill complex into operation.

There is no limit on BHS. The three properties all have an unknown degree of exploration-potential. As for the potential market cap, well, if they have even 12 million ounces at Bayhorse (the bare minimum), at $100 silver that's $1 billion of silver in the ground, with the machinery, workforce, and permits in place to produce immediately. When the market cap right now is only $18 million.

Some interesting chatter just now that Graeme is going to start either paying a dividend or doing a buyback. He should also be going on Arcadia Economics soon.

@Pilk111 @marco2often did you speak with G? I was thinking of calling but not sure if he is back from his trip? If someone has any suggestions of questions to ask please let me know | 42 minutes ago

@marco2often | No, I haven't. The increase in capacity can be found on the twitterfeed; the costs are from the annual plan (2020) and he made another statement that when cashflow becomes positives one of his first objectives is the investor community. Either dividend or buyback. | 30 minutes ago

@maplegold | There are over 800,000 shares on the visible ask side @ 15 cents.....I have seen situations like this before when a large buyer is trying to get into stock at a fixed price...Possibly setting up for something like that...? | 23 minutes ago

BHS, KS, SSE, IMP, DV, SVE, IRV, ELO, CNX, FWZ. I'm not really going to buy or sell until we get over $30 silver and new opportunities or dislocations in the market arise.

Simply remind yourself of the fundamentals, again and again. We know that the bankers can't escape the debt-trap, we know that yields can't go up again, we know that stocks and bonds are in the greatest bubble in history, and that's the end of it. All that money is going to chase hard assets when everything comes crashing down; it must. Whatever games the bankers play, they can't change their inextricable fate. And all the ammunition which they used to delay their fate in 2011 is spent. All they can do now is provide some plausible pretext for the collapse, i. e. force these lockdowns on us. Every time I leave my house and see all the NPCs wearing masks I am reminded that society has changed for ever. It's not as if we can sell our mining stocks and have everything go back to normal. It's never going back to normal. There will never be any semblance of normalcy again. Things can only get more and more abnormal as society continues to fall apart, and the money-printing becomes increasingly desperate. The doomed course which we are on can never be reversed. At this point, commodities are not simply speculation, they are a necessary act of self-defence. If you sell them, it's not as if there's anywhere else to put your money; there is no alternative; it's either stick with them, or put your paper money in banks or tech stocks which are on the verge of oblivion.

It's no secret that when money was debased, society began to destabilize. The length of an emperor's reign in Rome was largely proportional to the purity of the Denarius. As it was debased to near-nothing for silver content, so too did the average length of an emperor's reign shorten.

This debasement has been done again and again throughout history, just that this is the first time they've actually managed to tear us off PMs completely for any time. Thing is, they can't change that lizard-brain part of us that says 'shiny = valuable', and when fiat fails, the next-stronger equivalent was chosen, like we've seen with Venezuela and Zimbabwe running to the USD. But when the USD falls, there's nowhere else to go, and that lizard-brain part of us will take us right back to silver and gold as money. Who knows how violent the resistance will be, but it'll eventually happen.

In my eBay scrapping I came across a pretty amazing antique listed ignorantly and had the $44 total paid in seconds. It arrived today and I'm very pleased.

It's a 13" sterling silver repousse toddy ladle with a legit 1747 George II shilling set in the bottom, and a badass detachable twisted handle made of baleen whalebone. Ya don't see that stuff much nowadays. From my understanding, fresh coins were generally used so it's probably from around 1750. The ladle bowl only weighs 34 grams but obviously this ain't for melting! Happy to add it to the collection, if it weren't polished that shilling alone would be worth $100+. Gonna have to get me some based hot toddies going now.

In fact he does. he did get sent to play/pre school at age 3 and 4. I also had the same stigma that "homeschooled" kids are weird. Man homeschool kids are way ahead of the curve, a kid that is shy and awkward will be shy and awkward if they are homeschooled or not.
He is very outgoing and he has natural charisma, I am not worried about his social skills. This is not a permanent thing, I knew about the socialism and bullshit the taught in schools and was still going to send him to public school. But then corona hit and he missed probably half of his pre/play school age 4, and I decided I am not subjecting him to the shit they are pushing now.
I wrestled hard with it ONLY because of the social situation, but we live in a small town, he has friends on both sides of us his age, another of which is actually homeschooled as well and many friends throughout town that he has met from pre/playschool and baseball & skating etc.
But my biggest hangup was the girls, that was half the reason I went to school. We will see how everything plays out here with the covid bullshit before making any decisions further but kindergarten has nothing for him but strange behaviour from other children with fucked up parents/home life
Sorry about the blog but I did not take this decision lightly

Frens, quick interesting thought I had about the debate tonight before I go to bed:

Trump was actually playing defense through his aggressiveness. The debate doesn't matter, what matters are 15 second sound bites and how a voter's conceptualization of the candidates change. While Trump didn't do anything that would sway voters to him or change how people view him, he made it impossible to create soundbites and for Biden to show people that he's America's last working politician that reminds people of the times of JFK.

Voters don't vote based on debate performance, they vote based on the concepts of the candidates and the enthusiasm they have for that concept. Conceptualizations are identical to 8 hours ago and enthusiasm is definitely lower for Biden among swing votes than it was 8 hours ago

uncertainty has been making people run to cash. If the market drops it takes everything, including metals, down as traders mass liquidate to cover margin calls. Metals rebound, but there's no reason to hold through the dip if you don't have physical.

Peopl are fleeing to cash. October is typically a bad month for the markets + political uncertainty.

It's all bullshit though. The fundementals are still the same, no matter who gets elected. The system is fucked and cannot be saved. >>22920607

Well done.
I'd add to >>22929505 that you should get more silver since it is more undervalued than gold atm. Finally I'd also say that even though it's good to stack for weight in general heavy silver bars might not be the best way to do and I'd instead prefer 1 oz coins or maybe 10 oz bars, even if the premiums are slightly higher than in 1kg or 100 oz bars. If silver skyrockets as many here expects it might not be trivial to liquidate these heavy bars which would be extremely valuable. This is a mistake that I made when I started stacking. I tried to minimize the premium I paid which laid to purchasing these heavy bars. Now looking back I'd much rather have smaller size bars and coins. However, silver is still silver so as long as you are stacking physical metal you are already doing quite well.

40% on year is a good place to take profit or ratio trade. I buy silver when it's nearing 100/1 then swap as it drops

It's very easy to do this mistake as a beginner. You just buy the largest amount you can afford and it also has the smallest premium so you feel like its the right way to go. I bought 5kg silver bar using this principle and like you I kinda feel cucked owning it.

"White Dust Yellow Dust" by Morrice Black is an out of print book from the 90s that is a write up of accounts from dozens of people who attempted and failed to reach Dawson City during the last great gold rush that you might like. It fascinates me what the most desperate of men will do to each other for even the tiniest chance at getting gold. If you can find a copy its worth the read.

Indeed thats the mindset I had since I'm a wageslave, wanted the best out of my toilet paper. It's fine since I have 500 silver aside and now investing into stocks, hope I won't have to touch the 500g gold bar. I will sell the 100g first if shit get real. Stocks and silver will be my real investment, I don't see how I can sell a 500g bar without taking it in the ass.

>> No.22930282

>>22930167
Thats good to hear that you`ve got silver and stocks since then. You probably want to liquidate that 500g bar before gold hits 10k/oz or something. I've also bought 1oz coins and some gold since that huge bar purchase so its not too bad. Atleast we have something real and not this bankster paper backed by nothing but blind trust.

She loves rabbits so I grabbed a set of these coins. Pretty sure this should get her interested.
