Anon I'm from a northern europe country and let me tell you the USA seems like a lost cause if I believe the documentaries I've watched and the experiences on this board. I'm curious if anyone can confirm or dismiss below summary I've made.


Going deep in debt to acquire a paper that nets you $100k and then you have to work 50 hours a week and you get like 3 weeks holiday a year? The cities full of raging leftist, sky rocket house prices and broken roads. If you want to move out of the city you have affordable housing but no jobs and a village addicted to opioid thanks to prescriptive medicine.

Meanwhile I live in northern europe, have an affordable house. Getting a degree costed me only $16k. My jobs pays me around $75k and I have 30 days off and work 4 days a week. Insurance costs me around $120 a month, worst case I need to pay $1k a year if I need a lot of healthcare.

I won't say Northern Europe is perfect, of course (((they))) are trying to ruin it. But the dreams I had of emigrating to America are gone.
