Depends on the size and where you buy it. I imagine a small pumpkin would be like $5 at Walmart and a large organic pumpkin might be like $20+ at a farmers market. You can do other things with it besides using the flesh for pie. The seeds are great when roasted and you can obviously use the shell for a jack-o-lantern
