There are massive players involved that would not benefit and maybe even have profits reduced with psychedelic therapy. But who is to say they won't get involved in both? With it being legal in Oregon, companies are submitting trials and research to the fda. health Canada up north is working with companies like NUMI and SHRM, that's a positive first step. I'm betting at some point in our lives it will become a way to get treatment. Once the normies catch on and hear anecdotal evidence that it works from someone in their group they may become more open to trying it, and then they become an ambassador and the cycle continues.

Dude, I love psyches but you could easily farm your own shrooms with a fucking pack of Uncle Ben's and legally purchased spore prints....like enough shrooms to last you a year in a single grow if you dry them out and preserve them. And then if you make your own prints, you don't even need to buy anymore.

I love psychedelics but the market has a worse problem than cannabis. You can just grow if yourself. Even worse - with cannabis you can SMOKE WEED ERRYDAY but most people taking shrooms will only do it once or twice a year. There's a small subsection of people who microdose but even then, like I said, you can grow the easier than weed. If you want to invest in shrooms, I guess invest in whatever the hell company owns Uncle Ben's...

My two cents anyway. I'd actually love to be wrong on this. I want the field to flourish and I want more people to realize what an amazing and literally life changing experience these drugs can cause; but I don't see that realistically happening. And if it does, I don't see people spending hundreds or thousands of dollars to trip with a "professional" sitter watching over them for several hours (and getting paid by the hour, obviously). Not when they can just do it at home, where they will inherently be more comfortable, and do it under the supervision of a friend of loved one that they actually trust.

Okay frens, I have some questions about (((transaction times & free riding)))
Since Robinhood accounts are instant and called margin accounts what is and isn’t legal for buying/selling with money that hasn’t met the 3day transfer time yet?
Say I sell x and y stock on monday. Can I buy and hodl z stock the same day?
Ifnoring the day trading hits, could I sell a stock that same day then buy something else?
The account is technically a margin account, but does that mean only for the 1k instant deposit or does that also cover the value from the selling of x and y stocks above?

This shit isn’t clear at all since the platform is apparently designed to allow you to make illegal trades and you’re supposed to just know what isn’t okay.

He posts his dumb ass memelines like 4 days in a row with shit like "bear flag" and "double top" only to get btfo next day when it rallies.

Then he shuts the fuck up and goes into hibernation for another week or so to repeat. He will get it right ONCE in a blue moon due to the broken clock effect, and then his ego will make him believe he's some sort of trading God or whatever. It's actually really pathetic. I wouldn't even care about him if it wasn't for the fact that he acts as a force in these threads that actively work against people making money. He's the worse kind of bearfag who does nothing but make anons lose out on gains because he spams his tea leaf reading charts and brings prophecies of doom.

Last I saw him was around post-elections mid November. He was saying we were definitely going to fucking crash, and now here we are. I'm sure he purchased a bunch of SQQQ calls like he did back in September so maybe he's necking himself again.

Here's some actual advice since you didn't chimp out: Start off by "copying" other people's DD. Read an analysis of a stock and then delve into their financial reports etc and try to objectively arrive at the same conclusion with the information in front of you. This not only confirms the DD, but allows you to better recognize the same patters later. Continue to do this to build up a collection of indicators and fundamental combinations that you can recognize and apply to any securities. Investopedia can define any and every term for you. I.e. if someone says "Don't buy X, look at their P/E ratio", go determine what makes up a p/e ratio, what X's is, whether or not it is a good ratio, what effect this has had etc... Now you are equipped to analyze X's p/e yourself and either corroborate or disagree with the previous statement. Rinse and repeat for any applicable stock and evaluating metric.

I'm retiring at age 50, thanks to my job, and I ain't never working again if I can help it. (37 now). Pension + 401k + brokerage + cash in bank. No debt, just a mortgage payment. guys what is our strategy for buying the ABNB IPO which we will do for sure?

1. retard-buy immediately at open
2. what price a bit, if it moons lose money but if it falls get in cheaper, and then buy
3. wait one entire day or more

i think we need to buy immediately at open tbqh

every IPO now quickly rises +200%, +300%

The only fees I’ve noticed were for trading OTC and obviously on margin. There’s fees for special stuff but I never use any of that. TD is 0 fees and commissions overall. Robinhood pretty much changed the game with that and forced everyone else to go 0 fees. Downsides? I suppose if you wanted to take money from one platform to another it’s gonna take 3-5 days. There’s actually only upside in my opinion, if you have less than 25,000 dollars in an account then you can technically do 6 trades in a single day instead of only 3.
I don’t like running the phone app I prefer to trade on desktop and analyze charts n shit on TD

>>24596252
yes but some are more reliable than others. especially IPOs which are, for the most part, heavily reliant on future projections. when pages are scraped and tickers are in high density, algos identify a ticker with high pumping potential due to FOMO and popularity and over inflate the company (this can be at IPO, or a week later). giving them all the leverage once the price is unnecessarily high

The argument in Gamestop's favor is a little different than it was in September, because in September they were literally trading below net cash (lol). Ryan Cohen is one wildcard and the ridiculous short interest is another. But the general basis is that they're cash flow positive, have a net cash position and are actively working on a turnaround plan. I think GME's chart in 6 months will look a lot like Tupperware's. There's no reason fucking Nordstrom is valued more than Gamestop right now, and the higher GME goes the more pain shorts feel.

Should I diversify my portfolio?

I wasn't really into trading at first because my economist parents said it is just gambling. I just bought what my smart coworkers suggested.

Now my portfolio exploded, and I'm getting a bit nervous because it's super risky, according to conventional financial planning. Should I reinvest in some other biotech or computer-tech firms?

I heard Twist BIoscience could be good, and I might invest more in Moderna but I dunno what to sell for the $$ and how to time it.

Can someone more experienced give me advice or something to read? I'm very new to this (didn't even know what dividends were until a month ago when a friend asked me if my stocks gave dividends.)
