The only fees I’ve noticed were for trading OTC and obviously on margin. There’s fees for special stuff but I never use any of that. TD is 0 fees and commissions overall. Robinhood pretty much changed the game with that and forced everyone else to go 0 fees. Downsides? I suppose if you wanted to take money from one platform to another it’s gonna take 3-5 days.
