Already did this last night. I still have almost 2BTC on exchange but I don't mind leaving in there since I intend to pay taxes anyway. Although if we hit 50k I'll withdraw one of them.

If I wanted privacy I'd just use monero, and in fact I'm probably going to set myself up as a local crypto exchanger soon. Just need to set up some materials and print up some small flyers to hang in coffee shops. KYC can kyc my ass.

> try to withdraw coins
> exchange requires you to KYC target wallet
> comply and send fund to a single use address
> you are now in custody of your assets
> send funds to actual wallet

Assuming you are already KYC'd on the exchange, 100% the case for any mouth breathing fuck who stores crypto in a CEX, this only adds the hassle of an extra transaction hop.

The exchange already knows about your transactions regardless. The moment you use a CEX all of your stuff is out there.

>> No.24876203

If BTC is this easily defeated then it has always been worthless.

>> No.24876244

>>24876079
Unlikely, because that's a lot of extra work on the exchange to keep track of the entire blockchain and they could probably argue in court that once you withdraw your crypto to a KYC wallet, it's out of their hands and the government is putting undue burden on them for something they can't control at that point.

There's really no good way for the government to try to control crypto beyond mandating KYC on and off ramps for exchanges, and maybe going after local cash exchanges. But if they do that, they just drive people to start transacting goods and services in crypto directly, which only helps the cryptocurrency start outcompeting the dollar which now has onerous regulations on usage.

The writing is on the wall for fiat and has been for over a decade now.

They already can't make cryptocurrency illegal, it's protected by too many amendments (just like actual cryptography algorithms). The best they can do is pass anti-money laundering laws and regulations, which basically amounts to
>don't buy slaves with crypto
>don't pay hookers with crypto
>pay your taxes
So they can't make actual transacting in crypto illegal, nor could they even if they wanted to. The system is self-sustaining thanks to how mining rewards are set up and miners exist all over the world, so even if the USA decides to pressure every single Rothschild central bank owned country in the world to ban mining... Iran and NK will still have miners and transactions will still get processed.

Cryptocurrency is literally unstoppable, and any attempt to throttle it will only encourage people to divest from fiat entirely and start transacting directly for crypto. This is literally death throes.
