If you look at coingecko you'll see that RLC was listed on LAtoken exchange, which makes it easy to trade BTC and USDT for RLC. This is now the majority of RLC volume, so I guess we're getting a 'taste' of what would happen if Gilles wasn't a retard and the SEC wasn't lazy and it was actually listed on Binance US and other US CEXs.

If RLC is meant to be used by Microsoft and Intel, it will likely be backroom deals to deliver a certain percentage of tokens to be exchanged for eRLC. Because getting eRLC requires RLC, I don't see any reason why they'd want it to be VERY EXPENSIVE for their potential partners to get started. It just doesn't make sense if you want a product to be adopted that you would want the price to be -a lot- from early on. Maybe in the longrun, so late adopters have to pay a premium, but that's the norm in pretty much any business.

I suppose though it's easier just to scream "DURR DIGITAL DOGSHIT WHY COIN NOT 10,000 DOLLARS", as though Link wasn't under a dollar until two years after launch and even in march it was still only 2 dollars at a low point. Adoption for a serious product takes time and energy. In fact people forget that ETH was only a small fraction of its current price for many years, as was BTC. Too many shitcoin retards on here who see "PND scam #14342" go to a thousand and then dump to zero that think actual projects should go from 1 to 100 overnight, when actual projects are a gradual buildup of perfecting technology and then launching it.

I mean ETH 10,000 dollars EOD relies on V2 being launched, which hasn't happened yet. V1 isn't going to go to 10,000 dollars. Yet people hold 32 ETH in the expectation it's going to 10,000 dollars anyway. Are they retards for wanting to wait 10 years?

And we would assume Iexec is talking to large corporations in the background, rather than sucking Vitalik's dick. People like you have this idea that crypto/digital tokens as an ecosystem where every token sucks the dicks of other tokens is a good thing. RLC is good because they're selling to companies outside the crypto space, instead of licking Satoshi's ass in hopes they can follow along behind him.

>the team needs to hype this coin like sirgay did for link

Maybe they're looking at link and seeing how sergay bullshitted everyone about how bill gates wanted to buy all the link and how link pumped from speculation hype and then dumped when people realized sergay was full of shit, so Gilles wants some actual partnerships instead of stringing people along and promising without delivering.

Or maybe I'm the retard for thinking speculation hype pumps are total cancer and the reason why so many projects pump and dump never to recover.

Peak rcopium.
Chainlink has infinitely more use, still 100 times the ROI of RLC and vastly more recognition to the point it's top 10 and used by all defi apps that matter, iexec is still "literal who" used by noone and which the only application is someone cringe faceswap.
All the partnerships have been dead ends and misrepresented btw and the team has regularly hyped things up to deliver nothing in the end.

Gilles is a pure failure compared to Sergey, his opinion isn't worth an ass swipe when he has nothing to show but a token with 0 use that bled in sats for 3.5 years. As such I don't give a flying fuck about what he "believes", result is all that matters.

But hey, I don't give a damn about Chainlink right now, if iexec had just a tenth of its success it would already be a galaxy sized improvement compared to RLC trajectory. Noone is asking them to repeat the performance of the best coin of the bear market, just to stop being lazy and stupid.

Your measure of Chainlink's success to RLC's success is mostly based off of the pricing, pricing which resulted largely from sergey hyping up relationships with corporations which turned out not to exist. Gilles has not done this, but in the hypothetical scenario where he chose to do what Sergey did and openly and actively promote the idea that such partnerships were 'imminent' in the adoption phase, causing the price to x10, would you then consider the presumably top 50 RLC to be a good project even if it turned out that the MCAP had pumped purely as a result of a speculative lie and only remained above a certain point purely because of bagholders unable to dump?

In general this entire board is full of idiots who value the wrong things. A hype pump based on bullshit is a bad thing, it is a thing that Lition did before Richard exit scammed. No one should want a pump to 20 dollars based on Gilles running around with his cock and two 'developers' who are hot chicks in bikinis hyping up non-existent partnerships. Blair's decision to openly deny Google, Apple and other potential partnerships as things that don't exist is infinitely better than Iexec choosing to hype -actual lies- like Sergey did.

I have no doubts link will be 1000 dollars if it is finally adopted, but the things Sergey did to cause the hype pump to 20 dollars were essentially unethical and the primary reason no one calls him a scammer is because he didn't yet exit scam, yet the pump based on bullshit is still essentially the same thing a scammer would do.

The difference between Iexec and Link is that Iexec openly says those partnerships didn't come into being while Link strung people along during the pump from 1 to 20 dollars and to my knowledge still has not 100% acknowledged that the partnership with google and paypal never actually emerged- choosing to let it languish in ambiguity as bagholders hodl in hopes of 1000 eoy 2021.

If RLC had pumped to 50 and then said "haha maybe those partnerships maybe don't exist haha?" you would be much angrier/upset. The simple fact is that RLC did not do what Lition did, which is hype something that turned out to be a letdown and RLC has just generally not hyped things that RLC cannot guarantee. Not creating angry bagholders is better than hyping the coin to 50 dollars and then revealing those people bought garbage.

In particular the reason I suspect they aren't doing this relates to their push to get in with the SEC, as being a scammy nigger like XRP probably wouldn't endear them to the US government.

The SEC has cracked down hard on potential crypto scams and the new SEC chairman is 'pro-crypto' but pro-crypto also means they're smart enough to know a lot of crypto and digital currencies are straight up hype-fueled scamtokens that have no purpose to exist. This means the SEC is more friendly to legitimate projects but a project which chooses to be deceptive, to scam users and to generally be turbonigger thieves will get the book thrown at them as the US government develops a real policy on governing cryptocurrency usage beyond "pay the IRS your taxes or we will rape you" and instead embraces the idea that BTC can be a legitimate story of value and exchange of value for legitimate goods and services.

As RLC is SPECIFICALLY a currency used to exchange for eRLC which is then used to purchase services on the enterprise marketplace it should be obvious why Gilles does not want to do anything sketchy and retarded that could get the US government immediately trying to arrest him for being a potential scam artist. He wants his shit to be entirely legal and with the blessing of the US government so he can do business with MSFT and Intel, not hype his coin to infinity because neets who have held his coin since 2017 believe they've got a right to be billionaires. I believe the price of RLC will appreciate and I will be well off because of it, but I also believe Gilles does not want to do anything illegal when the US government has someone who is actually aware of crypto and the shenanigans that go on in the digital currency space like with Uniswap tokens being 99% garbage pajeet rugpulls.

Chainlink is the standard oracle solution, iexec doracles aren't even on the radar, this is inexcusable and a clear strategic failure.
