I'm actually more qualified to talk about this than most anons. I'm employed with a cyber-techno machinations company, I do a lot of security analyst programming type work. Open source, decentralized, APIs, partnerships, you name it. We'd be one of the first companies in line for something like Chainlink, if the decentralized smart contract space had more value over traditional data exchanges. There's a catch though, an underlying flaw more deeply embedded in the bedrock of LINK than the very code itself. The flaw is with the concept, and it's this: Companies won't actually go through the hassle of trusting their data API's through crypto.

Now I can already hear your keyboards going frantic, but hear me out. /biz/ hates banks, and traditional data providers. But actual companies, businesses, and investors do not. There's an old saying you might have heard of: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!". The idea that any of our bosses would give us the go ahead if we approached them to put our companies valuable data in a smart contract on a cryptocurrency called Chainlink, that they've never heard of, we'd be laughed out at best and fired on the spot at worst. We already have API data buyers and providers we trust.

'But Chainlink is trustless!' I hear you cry, but is that really a good thing? Just listen to the sound of it. Businesses don't want to spend millions of dollars on something that is trustLESS, they want something trustFUL. 'But the reputation system!', doesn't that defeat the whole point of your coin? If companies only trust nodes with high reputation, what's the difference between trusting banks and data providers that already have reputation, but in real life not on a computer screen.

The fact is, LINK is going to share the same fate as ETH will. A lot of 'real world application' hype, with a lot of 'crypto world application' reality. Only, this billion supply coin isn't going to come close to the $1k that Etherum hit.

>>25208884
Congrats, that'll probably be at least a $100k at the top of this bullrun

>> No.25210184

>>25210068

Everything you said is true, except the part where ETH and LINK has the same fate.
So fucking not true.

ETH is the second masterpiece of crypto after Bitcoin. Only a retard can be blind enough to not see that simple truth.

I haven't fren, accumulated 44k linkies in 2017/2018, swinged to 55k in 2019 with various shitcoins like lto, vidt, matic etc., then swinged to 105k linkies this past week with grt.
All in since november 2017, except when I'm swinging 10% of my stack.
Not going to sell 1 single linkie before 100$.
Unironically still living like oatmeal bro, 1300$ in bank, neet at parents, old shitbox car, masters in CS but quit wagecucking when link got too expensive to accumulate with fiat, etc...
They don't call us marines for nothing anon we're willing to do what others won't and we're tough enough not to sell for shiny things and high IQ enough to know the value of what we're holding.
I don't post a lot recently but we're still here fren.

I don't know lately it's been just watching the grt chart all day, had 55k link and sold 17k link for grt at 17.5c, didn't get out at the top and made some bad swings so eventually I only got 105k link instead of 130k if I had sold the grt top.
But I drive my sister to highschool, help around the house, used to play vidya on my hacked 5.05 ps4 but my sister wanted to play tlou 2 so I updated it and she paid for it but now we only have 1 game, should've bought ds3 on the christmas dip or bloodborne on the blackfriday dip but didn't since I played both a lot but still...
Using a t430 for shitposting, quit /fit/ in 2017 when I found /biz/ so I don't lift anymore, I spend my day watching kino and with gf.
Waiting for my real life to start at 1000$ eoy

Money doesn't change anything, I used to see oldfags say it in 2017 and thought they were larping, but it's true.

Now you just sit on your hands and wait patiently. Just bought 200 more LINK as well today at the $10.5 dip a few hours ago

People would like you to sell and forget about LINK until consolidation's done so that you can fomo later when LINK's next bullrun begins. When will that be? noone knows, depends on news from the team and arbitrum
