The main differences are you can only trade between 8-4pm EST (New York Stock Exchange business hours), you can't buy fractions of a stock like you can with crypto, and you can't buy and sell a stock within the same day more than 3 times in a week (unless your portfolio is worth 25k or more)
These aspects are all much gayer than trading crypto, however the upsides come from the variety of financial instruments available (options, index/ mutual funds), and the real world indicators you can look at to determine price fluctuations.
