Aren't all of these calls already delta hedged by the market makers? Of course you can argue that driving up the price will make them get gamma squeezed, but the price has been fluctuating throughout the week so presumably MMs have been incrementally changing their degree of delta exposure as needed. All of that leads me to conclude that there will be no gamma squeeze on Friday and consequently, even if hedgies are somehow still in with huge short positions, they aren't going to get short squeezed.

What is wrong with this reasoning? I would love to be proven wrong. Genuine question.

Are Blackrock Fidelity and Vangaurd going to dump on us?

Is this really WSB vs Melvin or is it Blackrock and Fidelity vs Melvin and Citidel and they are using WSB+CNBC to push for regulation smaller hedges out of competition? Who owns Robinhood? Is Blackrock pissed about Robinhood existing?

see here:
Fidelity Management & Research Company LLC 13.67%
BlackRock Institutional Trust Company 11.32%
The Vanguard Group, Inc. 7.58%

Also who bought 100M of GME under $10 and again at $20

Theres huge volume move in August from 2M to 20M dialy a massive volume spike on Oct 8th at 75M and no large volume again until this week, was that redditors? Or was it counter traders at other larger hedgefunds trying to dump on Melvin and pass the blame to retail?

Not FUD just looking to understand

YES
AMC is barely shorted, GME is at least 120% shorted (some sources say they doubled down and the short interest is 250% I've seen as much as 292% shorted)
AMC was always a shill, along with BB and BBBY and the rest.
This doesn't work if anons sell their GME and
Remember, we are saturated with FUD
The target is at least $320 by end of week - by end of day tomorrow. $320 was the top end of shorts iirc. Let's look at what they did today, and the result.
>an unprecedented 18 HALTS on GME - often consecutive, hoping to drain some of the steam
>major trading apps block buys but not sells on GME - attempting to drop the price
>hedge funds are trading between each other (short ladder attack) to drive the price down - because they're special they can trade when we cant'
EVEN AFTER ALL THAT THE PRICE IS STRONG AT 200
THE MEN ARE HOLDING
THE MEME MAGIC IS POWERFUL
THE APPS ARE GIVING IN - REALLOWING GME TRADES BECAUSE IT'S FRAUD IF THEY DON'T
WE HAVE THEM BY THE BALLS LAD AND WE'RE TIGHTENING OUR GRIP
SOMETHING LIKE 10 MILLION SHORTS REQUIRE TO BE CLOSED TOMORROW, WITH MORE THAN THAT TO BE CLOSED LATER OVER THE COURSE OF NEXT WEEK
THIS PARTY'S GETTIN CRAZY, LET'S ROCK

It was a good investment before it got pumped, but it still has a ways to fall.
Better long-term post-COVID investments would be things like airlines, which are still down ~50% on average from pre-COVID times - even big ones which are not going to go under (and if did, would be bailed out).
Companies producing for airlines are going to do well too.
I'm looking at Raytheon long-term because the new SoD is an ex-board member and Raytheon will recover once COVID ends (and they can sell jet engines to airlines again).
