afaik there has been only one airdrop and it happened last year.
If you made a trade using uniswap via metamask before sept 1 2020 then you qualified for the airdrop and were given 400 UNI. So people who didn't know about the airdrop are still finding their original airdrop still there waiting to be claimed. I can't imagine there is that many, who knows.
