And now they're limiting client transactions and directly impacting price action because they (Robinhood) thought it was a wise idea to have every account open as a margin account. They can't even cover the associated costs. WTF? The former is beyond manipulative, and the later is beyond retarded. At least TDA only limits margin purchaes, which is fair, because they're lending you money on their terms. Cash transactions are completely untouched.

My own. That said, Robinhood is still an objectively poor platform, with poor management. Good premise, but they clearly didn't stress test enough, and new accounts being margin was not an intelligent business model. For now, there are objectively better platforms, which make trading easier for anons.
