you still have gas fee to move funds on and off L2 so it's not making it a ton cheaper. Plus you have channel rental fees. Like I said, if they only do a single trade it really doesn't make a difference where they're trading, but Uniswap would be cheaper. If they do two trades fees are a lot better.
