I thought, financial freedom and gains would bring me a sense of content, but after reaching success I feel more alone than ever. This whole time I was looking for meaning in monetary achievement, thinking it would complete me. . . but that delusion is gone now. I realize I just wanted to mean something to someone . . . for someone to care about me and vice versa. But as I write this and close my portfolios, and turn off the single lamp on my desk, there's no one else. All the lights are out. I am truly alone. This wasn't the answer . . .

I appreciate the poetry anon. sometimes it needs to flow and you need to let it out. You should take a break, get out in nature. Real nature. And think about what's next. Part of the whole reason of making it is to find out who you truly are when you don't have to suffer financial enslavement, and I'm sure it strikes people in different ways.
