Daily Reminder to diversify your Metals holdings

THIS chart (rarity) + a decent number of applications
= GUARANTEED growth no matter current price

The chart is logarithmic
example: Rhodium is ~3x rarer than Palladium

>Yellow/PGEs are top-tier
>Blue/REMs have low recyclability. However, be careful, new tech could increase ability to recycle like how Aluminum became dirt cheap to extract
>Red industrial metals are good for stonks, physical if price > $10/oz

TIER LIST (~rarity) V3
>S
- Iridium (high rarity, relatively low price, 2x last 2 years, still discovering uses)
- Rhodium (10x last 2 years, will be lower in future as cars become electric)
>A
- Osmium (rare as Iridium, 1/3 the cost, still discovering uses)
- Rhenium (arguably rarest, similar to Rhodium, reasonably low price)
- Ruthenium (electronics & medicine)
>B
- Silver (many applications, low cost)
- Gold (ultimate store of wealth, eternal)
>C
- Platinum (volatile price yet doesn't yield)
- Palladium ("")
- REMs (only rare because low recyclability, good applications but not a large number)
>D
- Bismuth (various applications, pretty)
- Mercury (hard to get a hold of, fewer applications due to toxicity)

Hey Pan Man before I go to sleep you might want to have a look at Aurelius Minerals. They have assets in Nova Scotia. Their flagship asset is the Aureus West & East Project. It's got super high grade gold deposited in a nuggety fashion in stacked, saddled quartz veins + disseminated gold around the saddling. Has old mine workings that go to about 200m deep and mineralization has been encountered at over 600m depth, still open down dip. Also open along strike and strike length extends for at least ovet 1.2km for East, 1.9km for West. They'll be drilling aggressively this year, 50km drilling in total for Aureus W&E + 20km total for other assets in Nova Scotia. Exciting assets they have, though share structure is not to my liking. Definitely on my watch list.

Anyway I'll stop the rant there and get some sleep now. Good night!

Scoop tram or LHD (load haul dump) machine is like a flat underground loader. You go from the working face to an ore pocket or loadout repeatedly all day or load trucks directly. Its fun but monotonous work. The Jumbo drill rig is where i am usually stationed, its a big multi armed machine for setting up blasting holes in the working face or can be configured for rock bolts as well. Shotcrete work is the least fun job on the crew, going along newly mined segments and blasting the rock screen with expanding cement that quickly solidifies. It stabilizes the work site. Its messy and horrible work. I ll stick to my drilling thank you.

Thats amazing, youre a lucky man. That person must have really loved you.

Research this shit and dont sell it please god dont sell the vast vast majority for anything close to melt value. The key to numismatism is to hold forever. You will profit and you will enjoy the hobby forever, hopefully.

Whoever gifted that to you had taste, and was a real connoisseur. Those Morgan albums are potentially worth tens of thousands of dollars and id bet whoever this was has a number of XF/AU and even UNC examples in there. It takes years of hard work to make one (normally) and if this was say, your dad or grandfather or something, back in the day it required scouring coin shops far and wide to find what you needed. Research everything and have fun, it will take months at the very least. Really a special collection, whoever put it together, it is a reflection of them, and you should hold onto it forever.

Yes that is what I've been doing when I have time. I do know that within the collection is the best Morgan Silver dollar of a certain year/mint in known existence. I think a 1896... I think it's like a MS-66 or 67, but hasn't been graded.

My uncle left this to me and was a serious collector. He said he bought that coin at a show in the early 1970s for $5k.

Bayhorse. It's a long hold on silver price since their Oregon mine is not yet operational but they're sitting on the largest silver deposit in Oregon. The company is being priced on business fundamentals and right now they are just spending money to set up a huge mine but the market should be considering the value of their arms-length in the ground assets and the fact that their processing cost is only $10/oz and they're not limited to selling cheap since they won't sell to COMEX.

It's like buying McDonalds based only on the fundamentals of the business operations - They actually perform worse than some other restaurants. The difference is that McDonalds owns their own land and leases it to franchisees. You would be a full to not consider the hundreds of billions of dollars in land McD's owns in valuing the company.

GOLD is for the mistress - silver for the maid" -
Copper for the craftsman cunning at his trade! "
" Good! " said the Baron, sitting in his hall,
But Iron - Cold Iron - is master of them all."

So he made rebellion 'gainst the King his liege,
Camped before his citadel and summoned it to siege.
" Nay! " said the cannoneer on the castle wall,
" But Iron - Cold Iron - shall be master of you all! "

Woe for the Baron and his knights so strong,
When the cruel cannon-balls laid 'em all along;
He was taken prisoner, he was cast in thrall,
And Iron - Cold Iron - was master of it all.

Yet his King spake kindly (ah, how kind a Lord!)
" What if I release thee now and give thee back thy sword? "
" Nay! " said the Baron, " mock not at my fall,
For Iron - Cold Iron - is master of men all."

" Tears are for the craven, prayers are for the clown
Halters for the silly neck that cannot keep a crown."
" As my loss is grievous, So my hope is small,
For Iron - Cold Iron - must be master of men all! "

Yet his King made answer (few such Kings there be!)
" Here is Bread and here is Wine - sit and sup with me.
Eat and drink in Mary's Name, the whiles I do recall
How Iron - Cold Iron - can be master of men all."

He took the Wine and blessed it. He blessed and brake the Bread
With His own Hands He served Them, and presently He said:
" See! These Hands they pierced with nails, outside My city wall,
Show Iron - Cold Iron - to be master of men all. "

" Wounds are for the desperate, blows are for the strong.
Balm and oil for weary hearts all cut and bruised with wrong.
I forgive thy treason - I redeem thy fall
For Iron Cold Iron - must be master of men all! "

'Crowns are for the valiant - sceptres for the bold!
Thrones and Powers for mighty men who dare to take and hold!'
" Nay! " said the Baron, kneeling in his hall,
" But Iron - Cold Iron - is master of men all!
Iron out of Calvary is master of men all! "

How fast do I need to buy some of these like Bayhorse? I could spend money wiring for tomorrow, otherwise my account will be approved for normal stuff by wensday.

Here is a huge issue, of course silver is going to eventually skyrocket. BUT whats stopping the gov from either nationalizing companies (for critical 'defense' or whatever) or seizing private silver?

when you melt them down their destroyed for ever, so yea they loose their collectable nature and become just dore gold. Nuggets right now are going sometimes for over 60% spot price which is crazy, they usually sell at around 15%. The gold where I hand mine is generally anywhere between 94 to 96% pure but it depends on each creek.

That's the question - for most people it's already been too long but it will be longer. I only just recently purchased it but a lot of investors were expressing distrust over how long it's taken to get to this point. They purchased the Bayhorse mine in 2014 and the concern would be on liquidity and making sure they have cash on hand to continue development. They have a smaller operation in BC providing them with float capital to pay for the cost of the new mine.

I watched a bunch of interviews with the CEO before investing. In everyone he expresses how the low price of silver is holding them back (this is when silver was $11-$14) and a rise in price would speed up their operations. The last meaningful update I saw is that they were pulling ore out of the ground in regular amounts but it was something to do with getting a proof of concept to finalize one of their permits. They're also building an ore separator so they don't have to haul a ton of low quality rock up and then run it all.

I would generally agree with this but the play isn't so much on the company as it is on silver price itself. If you're expecting silver price to go up shortly you will see a rush to undervalued miners. If you're not expecting silver price to go up then yes by all means you can wait until they are closer to full operations and probably buy in at the same price.

1920 was when Gold and Silver were near all time lows priced in other commodities. There was a glut of metal from recent South African Gold discoveries and there was a little less than 2 Billion People. A century later there haven't been any Gold finds of that magnitude since and the population is 4x as high as it was then meaning that if Gold and Silver were used as money, they'd be much more expensive priced in other goods, with Houses probably being around 300 oz of Silver as they were in the 19th century before the supply massive increase that decreased their value.

you cant image how good it feels to be white. whiteness, in a vacuum, is recognizing individual will and knowledge to survive in nature. but niggers cannot, and will not ever be able to meet and master their environments. so, in this way, whiteness without that same vacuum is compounded in its immacularity by being so incredible, inconceivable, and unattainable that it makes the already blissful splendor of simple whiteness all the sweeter when considering niggardly races of other continents

bro if you got them from your local coin shop or from an reputable mint/vault i think you are ok. counterfeits are difficult considering the price of silver being suppressed when you consider the risk, time, and effort someone would have invested. however, if /pmg/ is correct in our projection of silver, then this would change drastically in the near future. but accompanying that would be a proliferated (my assumption) market of more aware buyers and as the profitability of counterfeits rose, so would the markets ability to sniff them out. also the punishment for cheaters would hopefully rise to meet the crime

Buying 8k chains at a 50% markup from a pawnshop for the style is not investing. Sure you have something vaguely resembling an asset, but it's not really being bought as an investment or used financially unless the owner really needs money.

call me schizo but I feel like the hedgies wanted a distraction, and JPM knew they could suppress any and all attempts to pump silver price, plus a media push about a short squeeze on silver and the resulting stories that it essentially "failed" keeps more normies from investigating metals or thinking of them seriously, mentally lumping PM in with the likes of GME. Win-win for banks, commodity buyers, and hedge funds.
