Most chains can't change their protocl, they must uprade to a new version (ex ETH 2.0) or fork (BCH, BSV, etc..)
Tezos can implement changes continuously , withour fork
So ETH 2.0 is delayed and will eventually go love, adressing the issues/needs identified a few years back when the upgrade started being designed. By then, the market will probably have shifted twoards new needs, which will require a 3.0, which will take another few years.
In other words, most chains are bound to continuously play cattch with upgraes, or will have to fork repeatedly. Meanwhile Tezos will just implement and evolve seamlesly

there are other features (open source, fees 1% of gas fees on ETH) but the the capacity to evolve is the key selling point for me
