Cardano (ADA)

Ok, so the main points that i think are the most significant are:

>True Centralization:
Unlike most crypto that have a creator and a couple figure heads holding most of the circulating supply and make most of the major decisions when upgrading the blockchain, Cardano has a a working solution to Decentralization which is a 3 headed governance system which is IOHK, The Cardano Foundation and The users themselves which will always vote on and decide when to upgrade for the blockchain instead of how Ethereum runs by just hardforking and creating a whole new chain/currency at the whim of Vitaly Buterin. This was also a problem with most 1 gen coins (aka Bitcoin) and why we see so many derivatives of it to this day (Bitcoin Cash. Bitcoin SV, etc.)

>Scalability:
One the most important aspects that we have proof of today that the founder of ADA, (Charles Hoskinson) was reluctant about while working on ETH with Buterin was that the amount of TPS (Transactions per second) that ETH could handle (15-20/TPS) was not enough to sustain millions of users and we can see the consequences of that today and why ETH's GAS and Network fee's are costing its users literal millions of dollars per day which only get worse as the amount of transactions increase bottlenecking its userbase into major companies and enterprises that will only be able to afford this , ADA solves this problem by utilizing sidechaining from the main blockchain to process more nodes enabling up to 257 TPS more than BTC and ETH combined.

>Efficiency: Simple one to explain. ADA's network protocol is Proof-of-Stake (POS) which is waaaay better for the environment and requires less computational power and electricity cost. Scaling down from the security risk of Proof-of-Work (POW) which eventually always ends up becoming enterprise level accessible and in turn creates a potential risk of monopoly on future coin circulation.

POW is very energy intensive and burns through the same amount of electrical energy as a small country, where as in POS the amount is decreased into that of a small home. With POS, ADA also rewards everyone who stakes with return on investment percentages instead of the first computer to solve a mining equation.

>Backing and Research:
Cardano is backed by several teams of scholars who have been documenting and peer reveiwing how cryptocurrency and decentralization platforms could work and run in the best way possible, two of which are part of the governance system. InputOutput HongKong(IOHK) and the Cardano Foundation. Both organizations were founded by Charles Hoskinson who left Ethereum after the 2017 Hard Fork (Eth and Eth Classic). Since then he has been working on Cardano and wishes it to be the most decentralized platform ever created after it completion. Currently it is in Phase 2 of 5 and in working on implementing its 3rd phase the end of FEB2021 which will add the support of Decentralized Applications (dApps) with programming languages Plustus and Marlowe that were created for ease of use with ADA and are launching a dApp creation program for even more potential user operability.
