What the actual fuck are those gas prices?
Can one of those Ethereum killers hurry the fuck up and kill this absolute shitcoin already?

>> No.28874670

>>28874509
first off, they've been way worse than that recently.

Second off, just wait till eoy for eth 2.0. Eth could easily 5x in value by eoy after its released. It will use PoS instead of PoW so you don't really have to pay mining/gas fees and the speed will go up a minimum of 25x

Ethereum gas prices?
Anything under $200 is a steal.

>> No.28875149

Are gas prices based on the price of the coin you're buying? If I want to get $50 worth of shitcoins my gas fee surely won't be as high or even higher than my investment?

Eth 2.0 isn't solving gas anymore. The new plan is to assume rollups will solve the problem. See:

Naw it's purely based on supply/demand in the ethereum blockchain. You could buy $5 worth of shitcoins and still have to pay a $50+ fee. This is why eth will never see actual mainstream adoption and never really "take off". It's like eth has brakes hard-coded in to stop any rally in its tracks due to unsustainable fees.

The eth devs are making fucking bank off this, so there's no motivation to fix it. Why would you improve on something if you're making hundreds of millions of dollars from overpriced fees?

ETH shills have been saying this for years. The truth is that ETH is outdated tech that will be left behind. They have to completely restructure the entire network. Its easier to just destroy a house and build a new house than try to replace the foundation while not tearing the whole thing down.

This. Major POS networks are already up and running. ADA is what ETH should be, not to be a redditfag. Also DOT already has a full ecosystem and testnet. ATOM is also super promising, its so far ahead of these other POS networks that its incredible. I have no idea why ATOM is not ahead of ADA or DOT.

That is for wallet to wallet swaps of eth. ERC20 transfers cost ~$20, and uniswap/1inch trades cost ~$50. Also this shit is mega slow, takes like 10 minutes and costs a shitload.

And they won't need them... Native token launches with minimal custom code will reduce the amount of liquidity attacks, exit scams, rugpulls, etc. Native tokens are already on the cardano testnet with extensive levels of documentation

as others have said, the party is moving to Binance Smart Chain. volume and liquidity is growing by the day, and every new project that gets launched there is mooning. it's like DeFi summer all over again! it's still early to move over there, but that won't be true next week.
