what no one understands about this project is that they're taking their fucking time to get it right. they're thinking of the problems that they can/will have in creating a decentralized financial system; they're not just throwing this together.

few, very very few software systems have ever been designed like this. the financial sector currently runs on COBOL, an ancient, fuckified language from days passed. writing COBOL is a pain, patching COBOL is a pain, anything to do with the fucking language is an absolute fucking nightmare. people learn COBOL for 1 reason and 1 reason alone: money. the banking system is so dependant on their huge COBOL backend that they constantly need poor souls to work on the atrocity that is the centralized banking system. 99% of the worlds software systems are like this: patched together fuckjobs that just barely get the job done, require a shitload of work to keep operational.

on the other hand, there are a few pieces of software that are designed to be so jewel like they never need maintenance. they just fucking work. these systems do exist and were typically written by teams of severe autists in the mid 70s, and they tend to prop up some of the most important pieces of our digital infrastructure. this is what cardano wants to do; to become jewel-like in the field of finance; whether or not it takes off, who's to say? if it fails and flutters out, it's just another failed project. but if it somehow gains enough traction it will become the new standard of digital finance. it's a long shot, but not having at least a little bit of ADA is just fucking stupid considering the potential for it to become the new standard of finance.

if you don't know about haskell or what it does let me briefly explain

haskell is a relatively new language with an extremely powerful typing system. the power of this typing system allows for all sorts of interesting properties in your system: most importantly automated proofs. the cardano ecosystem can be verified in a way that no other project currently can: mechanically, perfectly, and by a computer. remember the AVAX double spend that wasn't discovered until 6 hours after the transaction or some shit? not with a system designed in haskell. it's harder to write, yes. it's harder to design, yes. it takes longer to build and it costs more to do so. but the final product is infallible: something you should be happy to have your financial transactions going through.

i get that it's a reddit coin, there's a huge following for it there. but they're actually right: cardano has the ability to be the future. it isn't without risk though, they of course aren't the first adopters so they will always need to compete with ETH, but considering how much this has room to grow it would be really foolish not to hold even a small amount of ADA.

Let's be real. When you watch his videos and go through the website of Cardano with its post-leninist techno hippie babble, it's obvious Charles's goal is to let niggers babysit your kids and be caretakers for the elderly in retirement communities. Underneath it all the subtext it quite clear. He wants you to remain naive and to not cross the street when niggers are afoot. When Charles is talking about oracles and blockchains what he really mean is that interracial docking is the key to solving existential inefficiency and loss. Charles doesn't understand how bizarre and disconnected from modern reality Africa is. Charles has never been robbed at gun point then invited to by his muggers to eat dinner with the family after posing in a photo together. Charles never has seen the village daughter get gang raped by the tribe to feed the collected semen to the elders as a magic youth potion. Charles never tried to show niggers how to make an hourglass out of a water bottle only for them to poke holes through it because they think it would make the water heat up faster for cooking. Maybe if Charles watched even an old Vice documentary, he would understand that you cannot fix a people stuck in time with mobile remittance capability through the blockchain.

All in all even if you were to take away their kleptocratic regimes, you are left with a communal high time-preference oriented people who are culturally poised to always consume away their capital when not under the supervision of the white man. The only solution for Africa is a smart gas deployed all over the continent that develops their prefrontal lobes like in Planet of the Apes.
