i thought so too, and people tell me that daily. ive spoken to about a dozen recruiters and they all tell me how good my cv is and so on but ive yet to get anything. even went back and got more industry certifcations (one for networkng and one for security) and still nothing.

well i was in the military and got those and a few more minor certs as part of my MOS... i COULD have used it to get a job right out of the military pulling 100k a year as a GS12-13 but NO retard me was like 'fuck IT, i hate that shit' and signed up to go to gunsmith school (2 year waiting list) and enjoy retirement (got very boring and started bullshit hobbies that lead nowhere, IE growing corn in my back yard, and backyard blacksmithing)... skills degraded and i feel to stupid to go back into IT.
