Was I the only one who thought cryptocurrency was done for when we had the crash 3 years ago?

I left the cryptocurrency world and never even bothered looking at it again until 3 months ago.

I literally ignored the market during a 3 year bear market when I should have been accumulating, instead I just assumed cryptocurrency was done for.

Now I bet with the next crash cryptocurrency will 100% be done for and that I’ll be buying in bear market that will never end

Same here. Got out after the crash and simply forgot about everything up til 6 month ago. Honestly I never thought it would gain this much relevance once again, which now strengthens my believe this more than just another bubble. We already had a bubble and crash in 2017. Look at the tulips mania or the dotcom thingie. They bubbled and crashed and that was the end of it. But crypto was literally bubbling in 2017, crashing and then getting back up on its feet. That's... peculiar.

Old anons remember the exact same cycle happening in 2013. I made the same mistake after 2013, ignored crypto bc I thought it was dead. Only to find it would Moon again in 2017/18.

When will you realise Bitcoin is just a measurement in your trust in the system, a system we all know will do things beyond our wildest imaginations. It’s a measurement of the size of your balls.
It’s psychology

Hindsight really is something. Heard about bitcoin in 2013 by ancap schizos figured it would never catch on. Had the pure fomo driven run in 2017 assumed it was dead after that final dump below 5k didn't look at crypto until January of this year.

With our luck we will buy up bags in January in preparation for the next bull run only for the SEC to crack down on it and discourage normies from ever buying back in.

Crypto will become the global standard of trade to get around shit like Euros and dollars, this or 2024 will be the last bullrun to actually /makeit/ as crypto stabilizes into a real financial system instead of speculative memeing.

I thought Crypto was done after Bitcoin crashed from 150k down to 15k in March 2022 and didn't bother looking at it again until 2025 and the price had gone upto 1.5 million

I still believed long term, but I was moronic enough to just hodl and watch my portfolio hemorrhage for 3 years.
Wasn’t until more recently I really dug into the BTCs market cycles. I plan to cash out roughly half when it looks like it’s topping out and jumping back in when the dust settles.

We will have 1 more after the next halvening. Then we’ll be done, at least with the parabolic gains we’ve seen thus far.

Bbbut institutions are Investing now guys its over lol wait till they get wrecked , I'm ready to accumulate when everything crashes in a few months, I'm buying the Holy trinity of Btc, Eth and link.
I won't miss this this last chance and you all shouldn't too.

Do you really think they don't understand the cycles? Most of them specifically say they invest long-term with btc, they're not going to be kicked out of it when the cycle ends, they know the next cycle will go higher

>> No.29024992

I wasn't here for the last crash. Was it obvious on biz? Did you have enough time to get out? We had a fair share of Bobos and people saying "see, I told you x was the top" already on the past dips.
If it really ends though, will we be able to figure it out?

this is the last cycle isn't it? it just feels like there won't be a correction this time. like btc is just going to be a 50-60k stablecoin. i would have said we were in for a correction when it was crabbing in the 30s. but then musk pumped it and now i just don't know.
