It’s the most recognized govt mint coin. Anyone who makes/deals fakes gets their ass fucked fast and hard so it’s very unlikely to happen. The denomination is smaller (1 and 10oz silver tends to be most preferred denomination). It is legal tender so you can travel with less than $10k of it and you don’t have to report it regardless if the physical value is greater than $10k. Finally If there is a repegging of the dollar to a new valuation of gold/silver I believe you do not need to pay tax on your gain since gold/silver is constitutional money and you are simply exchanging for the new currency at whatever adjusted rate has been set. This sort of exchange would not typically apply to non govt issued bullion like bars. But if you are just trying to stack ounces, silver = silver. I think those are the main reasons.

The Five Laws of Gold:

1. Gold cometh gladly and in increasing quantity to any man who will put by not less than one-tenth of his earnings to create an estate for his future and that of his family.
2. Gold laboreth diligently and contentedly for the wise owner who finds for it profitable employment, multiplying even as the flocks of the field.
3. Gold clingeth to the protection of the cautious owner who invests it under the advice of men wise in its handling.
4. Gold slippeth away from the man who invests it in businesses or purposes with which he is not familiar or which are not approved by those skilled in its keep.
5. Gold flees the man who would force it to impossible earnings or who followeth the alluring advice of tricksters and schemers or who trusts it to his own inexperience and romantic desires in investment.

Niceman. I'm always on the lookout for junk silver. If PMs ever become currency again, it will be nice to have smaller denominations, especially ones that were valid currency. They'll allow you to make more silver by becoming a jew money changer for people who only hold larger denominations. Also, they're just sort of fun to have since they're a part of history.

Can someone rationalize premiums for me?
I understand they are high right now due to supply. What I'm wondering about is premiums when the market is more stable. If I pay premiums for shiny rocks, can I be confident that if I go to sell shiny rock, I'll get a premium? Take ASEs for example. Can I expect to at least break even on premiums? Or is it just money down the tube?

People like you are a big part of why I've not been back to fakebook after spending half of last year in their jail. I do't want them paid from me being an "active daily user" anymore, either.
It's real nice that there's so many more smart people here. I can take your assessment here, although maybe no 100% correct, and compare it to so many others that are largely on the ball too, and end up with a pretty reliable perspective.
Most forums have two or five experts out of hundreds or even thousands, but that ratio seems a lot better here. This is a good place despite all the homos, trannies and and bigots. I might be one of those given...or a hypocrite if I didn't admit. Lol

For the anons who don't want to chase Bayhorse, but are still wanting an undervalued small-cap current producer, look into Starcore International Mines. 15m market cap. PE <3. They may be paying dividends in the future, and have at two separate times in the previous decade.

"Starcore has a very high beta to the price of both gold and silver. High gold and silver optionality. If the price of gold or silver or both rises, the stock price of Starcore will respond in a huge way, upward. If you want to place a bet on a rising price of gold or silver, Starcore is as good as any vehicle out there. It is a free call option on the price of gold and silver, backstopped by the huge profitability at the current gold/silver price."

Correct. Although I wouldn't call it "dissing." He did point out, correctly, that their resource is very low grade. But Starcore is one a few very producers that is at a sub-50m market cap, and we have discussed the other ones (BHS, Vangold) frequently over the last few months. Just wanted to present a third option for anons who want a small-cap producer that is severely undervalued. Starcore is not in the same league as the two aforementioned miners, but it does reside in the same niche area of the market, and that in itself could be appealing. It is for me.

As Pacifico anon says, I thought that BHS was a better investment than Starcore when they were of equivalent mcaps and obviously that has turned out to be correct, but Starcore at a mere $15 million mcap obviously looks extremely promising. It's a gold producer with silver credits rather than a pure silver producer like Bayhorse but like Bayhorse it's a small one-mine producer which is ridiculously undervalued with regard to cash-flow.

It's so hard to tell with bayhorse because really it should be trading at around .40-.50 a share once production is priced in, assuming a 10x PE ratio at current silver prices. It has been so undervalued for so long that I don't know if it will go down. I already have a sizeable position, and was considering doubling it, but it just keeps going up. I'm really hoping for a major smash of its price tomorrow. I had a buy order in for BLLG at 49.5 cents that I was sure would go through today, but as soon as lawrence lepard tweeted about the ceo buying a million shares the price shit up .10. at least I finally got to dump my aurcana bags today. But nobody knows when the music stops, paying a premium is like saying you want a chair before the music stops, you'll definitely get your chair but you'll have to pay for it.

Squashing gold will not restore confidence in the value of the dollar and more importantly, in the people who control their creation. That's what is happening, people are losing faith in the system, the illusion, they want money that cannot be created by greedy men and gold and more recently bitcoin are their answers. Only the stars can create gold, men created bitcoin, I know which one I want
If they squash gold i stack more because 5000 years of history have proved its value beyond a reasonable doubt.

If they squash gold it will be the straw that breaks COMEXs back when they run out of supply due to extreme demand.

Starcore International Mines (SAM). 15m market cap, gold and silver properties in Mexico, trading at <3 PE, producing and exploring, and according to the CEO chat, no debt and cashed up. The sentiment seems positive on management.

CEO.CA chat: “According to the last year's result, they produced about (229,830*30.49*0.5436/31.1035=)122,000 ounces of silver and (229,830*1.82*0.8767/31.1035=)11,790 ounces of gold. That production result can reasonably support a 100 million C$ of market caps. It is 2 dollars a share already.

They produced over ten times more ounces of silver than gold. The coming silver bull market will be a strong tailwind behind Starcore. The current silver recover rate is only 54.36 percent, which means there is a large space for improvement.

If the management keeps cutting the cost and improving the efficiency and step-out drilling for new resources, Starcore can be another ten bagger.”

most of the rigs I worked on were designed to move with helicopter support. You can pop them down into 4 pieces for a quick move than reassemble with little down time. For deeper holes we ran a Longyear 38 or 40 on sled towed behind a bulldozer.

My own little rig is an X Ray drill designed by Boyles Brothers in the 60s. It can tow its self along on sled or be pulled by a small bulldozer.

Someone smarter should answer but warrants are basically options to buy/issue a stock at a certain strike price and at a certain date. So I get an option to buy your company at $1 on Jan 1 2022. If the stock is $0.5, why would I exercise my warrant? I'd buy the stock for double what it's worth.

But if the company is $3, I would exercise it and basically double my money instantly. But when warrants are exercised, new stocks are issued and the shares get diluted.

I don't know why they changed the exercise dates. Probably because they expect the company to be above those stock thresholds by the date the options expire and want the people with the right to exercise them to actually do - which gives the company more funding at the expense of some share dilution.

"Yet" is the key word. Starcore is currently producing, and has been for years, but they've done so in total anonymity during a bear market that just recently turned bull in the last couple years ago. Starcore will rise significantly once the broader market discovers them, granted it won't be anywhere near the rise of either BHS or VGLD. This is good news, as it allows for a little profit-taking from other successful miners to put into Starcore, which will probably toil in undervalued obscurity for at least a few more months.

If they can prove more ounces, and are finally in production, the stock could shoot up even more. I'd also like to see them start properly developing their other property once the main mine gets into full production.

most sites are out of 1 oz normal stuff. if you wanna overpay for an ASE, yeah those are available. but every site has some kind of low stock/delayed shipment/etc thing going on. there's no doubt about it, there is definitely a crunch.

Here's PANMAN's latest assessment, if you've not seen it yet. I have relative trust in his judgement, despite being new, as he's balls deep into it and doesn't come off as an idiot, quite the contrary.

I think it's actually this indicates the opposite - the fact they're pushing those warrants out almost three years for the .15c and 2 years for the .30c means they don't want nor need the cash right now, or the dilution that comes with it.

I might be a retard and reading this wrong but what the move signals to me is that they want people to hold on to their warrants for much longer because they expect share prices to be significantly higher. Remember, warrants are usually given to private investors who already invested money in other ways, employees, etc. so the way I see it, BHS is expecting shares to go much higher and trying to incentivize their early supporters.

Unless I'm a retard or Canadian warrants are weird, you can typically exercise warrants before the expiry date. Thus, there are about 4,000,000 theoretical shares that pop into existence when the when the stock is $.15. Also, are those CAD or USD prices?

Don't worry, miners usually retrace after huge moves like that without changes in fundamentals

you hang the drill sled, boom and power plant under the aircraft, everything else is put in crates and flown or walked over. It takes about 3 hours to do a full move and spin up, but you do each pad strategically so you can do as many cores from one pad / move at a time. The Hyteck 2000 rig is easy to run with a heli crew and basically the best rig on the market right now. Been talking to Harvey Tremblay at Hytech asking him to think about a modern version of the X Ray for less intrusive jobs.

Sonic drills are better for sediment sampling rather than rock as far as i know.
Pic related is identical to my rig, I would post mine, but its got info on it that is hard to black out.

According to that one Finnish drilling comparison study sonic drills should be the superior choice for base of till sampling among different drills
