Right now I have 10 BNB deposited into Cream as collateral. However Cream is lending less money to me than my collateral. The same thing happens to me on AAVE so what is the point of lending?

What the fuck are you talking about nigger?

I am talking about how lending platforms are giving me less money than what my collateral is worth. Right now I have 2k of collateral on cream but im only allowed to borrow 1.9k worth of assets when I wanted to borrow more.

Wait... Dude.

You can probably only take out 60 to 80 percent of your collateral.

I seriously dont understand. How am I making more money when I leave to keep the 10 bnb on cream but I only get 1.9k to work with outside that platform? I wanted to borrow more money so that I could reach my initial investment in yield farms faster.

you have 10 bnb on cream
you borrow 1.9k and buy other stuff and make profits, you pay off the loan, now you have your profits-interest and gas AND the 10 BNB

Holy shit thanks dont know why I didnt get it myself

Must be a larp, cause you're a dumb fucking retard based on your replies.

Don't borrow money, you're definitely going to lose it, guaranteed. (This is advice to YOU, as you've demonstrated that you're not competent enough to even understand the nuances of collateral)

don't use cream on bsc though, check the stablecoin interest rates, they are above 100%, use venus instead

>> No.29407374

>>29407057
you use coins that you are just planning to hold for the time being, get the loan and make trades with that.

>> No.29407612

>>29407351
thanks I will check it out. i think the best thing is to lend stablecoins too so i will check whichever platform gives the lowest interest rate

>>29407374
yea im starting to get it better now but ill still experiment before committing to big positions

Don't feel bad about it
These things are actually really hard to understand for most people. There's a lot of 130+iq semi-anti-social people here with little patience who get annoyed because from their POV you should easily just understand it because "it's right there staring you in the face".

I've also lashed out at people in frustration over "not getting something so simple" in the past and I realize that being upset about stuff like that comes from having felt impotent in the past when it really mattered to me that someone would understand something important to me in my life. It starts to spill over into a general upsetness with "dense people" where one feels like it's as if they're just not trying much to think things through and it's their fault.

You're not dumb. You're just not super smart, and not very smart when it comes to stuff like this. You'll need to put more effort into learning and probably will need more help, but that's okay.
A person of average intelligence would need much more effort and help than you, and might not even ever understand things that you are capable of understanding in the end.
