The fact that he would publically link his company with the pure speculation that is Bitcoin is absurd. Musk himself has said he thinks both Bitcoin and Tesla are overpriced, so why link them together? Either he's hatched some master plan where he hopes the inevitable Bitcoin crash will pull Tesla stock down with it, or he's simply low IQ and retarded. For me it's 50/50

I agree. The move to buy bitcoin doesnt make sense. Other than a desperation move. Maybe he was hoping bitcoin would continue to go up massively in price, with his announcements. There was this theory flowting the last weeks, that if companies put Bitcoin on thier balance sheet the price would be unstopable. Maybe he was counting on that.
