Brainlet here, how do I properly do research into the fundamentals of what I'm buying? There is so much information out there that my brain just overloads and can't make any sense of it, I bought GRT and REEF based on threads here and they are tanking badly but apparently I should just hold and not worry about it? I just realised after a week of trying to trade that I actually have no idea what cryptocurrency is about.

save up money and wait for the inevitable bear market/accumulation phase. chill out until then and then go all in on major tokens after they plummet.

for reference, I was accumulating ADA between 1 and 5 cents, and it is now over a dollar. Do the math.

Smart money, Anon.

- Buy only coins of non anonymous European, Taiwanese or Japanese teams.
- Buy only coins with real product that is useful and people are actually using
- check that tokenomics is cool and it's not inflationary ponzi scheme or devs just releasing tons of token into circulation

I looked at btc's chart half a year ago and it wasn't doing anything so I thought like a dumbass it wasn't going anywhere, wow what a mistake. I guess buying in now means I'm dumb money that is going to get fleeced?

Buy: Things with a lot of technical analysis and arguing over mechanics in threads
Do not buy: coins with animals, food, cartoon characters, or chainlink in the name.

Does it sound like an interesting/valuable project - is it a legit business idea
Who are the team members, what are they associated with, how do they behave and communicate
What is the projects history, how long have they been working on it
Do they have good marketing material
Check out their social media
Check out their telegram, what’s the vibe
What’s the fud, how does the project and community respond to the fud
Who are they partnered with
Have they done code audits
Etc
Don’t need to hit everything you just poke around until you are comfortable or you’re not

I've thought about this for a long time
first of you'll never know. I worked at companies and had no idea how they're doing.
But I think interest is a good guide.
If you're interested in something and like their product, buy their stock. You're never alone.

Learn to code crypto bruv .There's no way around understanding how it works except by peeling apart how it's made. Then you can zoom back out and look at the wider picture of how people are behaving with this stuff.

Then there is using the technology. What are the different websites/dapps? How do you secure it? How should you trade? Where are the crypto communities.

Remember this story: Menaechmus was said to have been the tutor of Alexander the Great; this belief derives from the following anecdote: supposedly, once, when Alexander asked him for a shortcut to understanding geometry, he replied "O King, for traveling over the country, there are royal road and roads for common citizens, but in geometry there is one road for all"

My advice: hold, don't even think about touching your wallet for 6 months. Otherwise, you'll probably burn yourself out with fees and shit trading. You'll thank me later.

If I accept that my investments are going to go down 90% or some thing I guess I can hold on until the next cycle, feels bad though.

To add to this, anything that has a practical real world application is a buy. DASH, XMR, FCT
If the project only exists to facilitate magic internet money processes you should be skeptical. GRT, ALGO, DFT

I don't know about REEF (literally know nothing about it), but I know GRT is a good hold. Should probably hold for over a decade lol
>>29449850
I'm not sure what DASH and FCT are, but GRT will probably be where web marketing will migrate eventually. I think it's a pretty safe bet.

>> No.29450233

>>29450028
If web 3.0 becomes a real thing used by real people, GRT really will be the google of blockchain unless someone figures out how to do it better and faster. But for the time being it's a tentative "hold and hope it survives the big one" coin. Skepticism doesn't mean rejection lol

Reef threads are full of pictures of reefs and bashing the CEO because his first name is Penis and posts about how the CEO and his devs keeps minting tokens to dump on binance to suppress the price.
