So is this one of those coins that is used as a stablecoin for payment services between apps? If so, I think it's the type of coin that the developers will keep stable by flooding more into the market to manipulate its price and keep it low forever. In order for it to be adopted, they probably don't want it mooning to big amounts bc then app developers will not use it. So it will probably not fly to obscene levels like you want it to. But as usual, it's just another coin that no one has done research on but bought a ton of bc the price was low. And you like to gamble on all these shitcoins, thinking they will make you rich.

I don't think an AMP token will ever realistically be worth more than a Bitcoin. But, I don't think it's impossible that one day an AMP could be worth more than a Bitcoin, but Flexa would have to become the mostly widely used payment processing method with AMP collateralizing the majority of transactions globally earning .5% fee for trillions of dollars of transaction per day. Flexa will have to have replaced the credit card companies. However, one aspect about AMP that is noteworthy is AMP is the only token that could have the possibility to surpass Bitcoin in value one day. The upward price value of AMP is limitless. It gains more and more value the more it is staked and the more it is used to collateralize payment transactions. I don't think any coin or token has this type of potential. If Flexa were to become hugely successful, owning AMP tokens would be like earning an income producing asset so the holders would be getting paid in addition to the value of the coin itself. If this happened and you owned enough of them, just staking them could be enough income that you would never have to work.

This coin has been available for more than a year too under a different name.

It's a nice idea but adoption is paramount and it's never getting widespread adoption. Just look at how behind they are in their time-line.

Pure hype will pump the price I hope. People hold literally millions of AMP thinking it will reach $1 and they'll be set. It won't happen.

From Gemini app, does this make the coin valuable? It does solve a difficult problem that others have tried and failed at. It’s different than BTC because it’s a utility and not necessarily a store of value which is why I find it interesting about keeping the price low and steady and the value is generated by staking or using Gemini earn.

That being said if this facilitated mass adoption of BTC and other cryptos in the normal persons life with that scale of transactions 100 billion coins is nothing in comparison to the multi trillion dollar economy of the world.

One thing to keep in mind with as well is how Flexa has been growing as a business. If you look at this chart on DeFi Pulse, select Payments, not only is Flexa ranked number 1 by a few hundred million dollars. But they are growing quickly as well. This will only increase Amps usage among retail locations thus driving up its price.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/ripple-s-xrp-sales-suppressed-coin-price-amended-court-complaint-alleges - Ripple (XRP) is a blatant scam and a pyramid scheme. The 2 creators made 600 million selling off XRP for years. They artificially kept its price low by dumping their bags and selling them regularly. They told the public and investors they were "going long" while they were selling off their coin and cashing out. I'm so glad I didn't get pulled into this one. Looking at it on Gemini, it seems like this is the only one besides MANA (Decentraland) that is cheap enough for anyone to get it on it early. Is that the appeal here? Just that it's the cheapest one? Like it's people's only chance to really strike it rich. Ok, I get that. Why aren't you shilling MANA then? But I'm not seeing the potential. It could just as easily be another shitcoin that never takes off and sits there cheap for the next 4 years. Or one that is intentionally kept artificially low at <$.50 to make the transactions work. Yeah, I guess you could stake it. But what good is a couple hundred extra shitcoin per couple months when it's worthless to begin with. If we're honest, nobody really knows if it will take off. 3rd time you screech about muh Reddit. Stfu faggot. Often, the people yammering on about Reddit are the biggest Redditors themselves. Nah, you really didn't explain it well. The OP started out on the wrong foot by lying about it coming to coinbase tomorrow. Flat out lie. So then I started asking questions and you couldn't handle it bc you are deeply invested and got cognitive dissonance merely from someone asking "why"? That's why you've been fuming and raging in this thread the entire time. Bro, scroll up and re-read all your posts. You're seething and projecting it all onto me. You're such an insecure little fag. Apparently, you don't believe in your project all that much or my questioning wouldn't have gotten under your skin so much. Then again, I stung you hard up the thread so I get why you're still crying like an emotional bitch.

Yeah, the commonality being they're both dirt-cheap right now. But anyway, Minecraft and Roblox are ugly as fuck games but they both make millions and billionaires for the creator of Minecraft. Not that I believe in MANA though. Just making a point.

Nice digits. Here you go
https://amptoken.org/whitepaper.pdf
https://flexa.network/
https://app.flexa.network/

An extremely tldr would be that it is a coin that you buy, then stake. The staked asset is free to be used as collateral for the network to process btc/eth/~crypto of your choice/fiat payments. After purchases are verified the amp gets added back into the pool and collects and adds the tiny fee from the transaction increasing the total value of the pool and paying people their APR. The total value of the pool increases when the price of amp goes up, allowing merchants access to make bigger purchases with lower fees than traditional mediums do now (VISA/Mastercard)

There's a discord I'm pretty sure. I didn't care to join it. Yeah to trade you'd want eth in your wallet. Amp seems like a really solid long term hold. Its price is extremely low and we might be on the cusp of another alt season. Considering that Amp has a coinbase listing, it's guaranteed to be added to available coins sometime in the near future. And once that happens it will have massive gains. The strategy I'm implementing is to just stake my stack on the Flexa network, forget about it for a few years, the come back to a nice stack of money.

Amp acts as collateral to allow people to pay vendors with whatever crypto while making it instant. It's way cheaper than what current credit card companies charge. Vendors can save hundreds of billions and it helps prevent fraud because the collateral comes from people staking their coins. Staking people get high % returns and vendors save hundreds of billions and people can buy shit easily.

Flexa who uses amp is already getting involved in major projects. Amp is also on the list of coins coinbase is publicly looking into (long list but not incredibly long).

You have to assign your own value to this project. Probably for a long time especially if it doesn't take off after the coinbase listing. I'm personally guessing anywhere around .50-.65 will be where it rests for a long time if it finds success. If crypto gains widespread adoption, which is a big IF, this project could be worth insane amounts. Even with its current integrations merchants can still do fiat trades without paying the 4% Visa fee
