I put over half of my portfolio into this coin when it was around 1.20$. Such a disappointing coin because it seems it'll never get to that mass awareness/hype phase which is crucial in cryptoes. The project may be good, but technical capabilities will only push you a few meters in a 100m track.

Cryptoworld isn't about the best technical solution driven platform.
It's about the community that uses it as well.
Ethereum has a mere 7 tx/s, yet it has a huge community that supports it plus ETH 2.0 that will upgrade the platform.
Many good projects have failed so far because noone wanted to use them. Reminds me of dot.com bubble, where many new projects and good ideas failed, yet the 2-3 that survived mooned beyond the solar system.
We just try to bet in 20-30 projects and a 10% of them will moon. That's our hope.

Frankly , I was afraid this would happen but appearently algo is turning out to literally be the linux of crypto. Technically algo is solidly secure, efficient and scalable but Eth and bitcoin currently have more developers building shit on their networks and have better branding.

We need a killer app that can gain media attention built on top of , or that uses, the algo network.

I mean, You would think that having something like USDT being built on algo would be enough for the masses but appearently normies are looking for something else.
