I had been thinking about this and couldn't find any real reason for this to happen ... except ..
AMZN stock has increased around 60-70 percent over the last year, yet they haven't really introduced anything new into the market to justify this increase. Their increase has been mainly due to new Amazon Prime memberships so people could stream from home while quarantined, ordering from home, people blowing their stimulus checks on online shopping, etc. So, unless people decide to embrace this new hermitized lifestyle, Amazon is going to have to justify this money and look in a new investment direction or see this profit disappear. This still isn't a great reason for it to happen but at least gives *some* kind of justification that it might.
