Honestly as a parent I would feel bad. Probably just clear her debt with her sibling myself. Tell all the rest of the siblings to never get involved with her financially again as I will do no more bail outs if they do. I would tell the daughter her inheritance will be less whatever debt of hers I had to cover to keep her in semi decent graces with her family.

>> No.29789809

people who want loans will try and convince you that you have such a heart for doing so. but when they need to pay up they will pretend like it never happened. I've never loaned anyone money and had better relationships with them afterwards, there is literally just negatives when you loan money. Atleast banks get interest.

i can't remember the exact quote or who said it, but i once heard that if you're loaning money to friends or family, you should consider it a gift. most likely you're not getting it back. i don't mind; i've given people small sums here and there, paid for a share or two of a group vacation. doesn't bother me. now if they start asking for money regularly, that's an issue that needs to be corrected, but otherwise whatever

well i hope you think about it every day. how much money you could of had. money that your parents kept from you. think about how you could of been rich like one of us but now you have barely anything. think about it everyday. i live in a mansion and drive a high end car and your parents stopped you from ever doing that. you will never have an opportunity like that in your life ever again. I hope you think about what you can never get back.

>> No.29792215

Honestly, one of my favorite things about my job is I make enough that I can help the people close to me when they need help and it really doesn't matter to my bottom line whether they pay me back or not. As long as they make an effort to pay back at least part of it I consider that making us square and even then I usually tell them to keep it. I especially like when I can help my younger relatives because I know it would have made a huge difference in my life when I was younger if I had that kind of safety net available and I know our penny-pinching boomer relatives either won't help them out or will be major faggots about it. Plus, it's nice to help them avoid the credit card Jew.
>airline tickets
>rent
>utility bills
>car repairs
>textbooks
>medicine
>moving expenses
>work clothes
Those are just some of the things I've helped my loved ones pay for, and after I make it (currently in six figure hell) I'll pay for things like weddings and honeymoons and college tuition and cars. Money is a tool to enhance your life, not a resource to be hoarded as if life is a game of Monopoly, and if I can use my money to improve the lives of the few people I care about I consider that enhancing my life too.
