That's because PRQ is a stable coin, and was always meant to be a stable coin, just as Analtoy said. I don't know why anyone would buy into this.

Nobody will get PRQ from IQ, it will give passive income in a stablecoin. Likely USDC.

Isn't IQ Protocol their service platform to allow staking? Where are you getting free from?

>> No.29840437

>>29840114
"staking" often means getting paid in a coin itself for providing liquidity, turning it into a farm n dump shitcoin.

>> No.29840455

>>29840076
Oh. I assumed you'd be rewarded in prq
>>29840114
Yeah. So you lend out your stack, receive iprq and then cash it out for prq when you wanna stop staking

>> No.29840461

>>29840437
IQ protocol isn't staking, it's a lending system. Check out the blogpost on it if you want more deets.

>> No.29840511

How many parsnips to make staking worth it do we think?

>> No.29841302

>>29840437
>>29840455
Correct, but just like >>29840461 said, it's a lending system. PRQ is required for the platform; what you're doing is lending your tokens for actual clients to use. PRQ gets paid with fiat - they use it to buy the PRQ for the client to use the platform - you effectively get paid via fiat.
It's not being created out of thin air at least.
