That'll be why you're not earning, the BAT rewards are for them displaying ads to you. On mobile they give me a max of 5 push notifications an hour, but they also just give you an ad every 4 new tabs you open, it's a static image and it counts towards your rewards.

I have read however that you will see more ads if you're actively donating (as they intended) and that this helps the legitimacy of BAT as a form of currency.

I have been a Firefox loyal for at least 15 years at this point, but brave, on mobile anyway, has been fantastic. It blocks more ads than Firefox does, and it feels faster for sure

It is a laughably small amount atm, rough maths says that you'll need to open 4300 ads to qualify to withdraw BAT from brave, and if there's some kind of check in place that says you can only have 5 qualifying ads an hour it'd take 900+ hours from the day you first use it

You realize that a public company's CEO before going public sets the shares available for his company. An intelligent CEO is going to hold on to the majority shares, usually like 51%. This stops hostile takeovers in their tracks. Amazon can buy all 49% of available shares, but it isn't enough to put them in a position where they have absolute control over everything Brave does.
