And what companies are you invested in that reflect this?

Forget about crypto for a second. I'm talking other types of future tech and the companies that best represent the possibility for advancements in the areas you really BELIEVE in.

I have some thoughts about anti-aging research, virology, virtual reality, etc. But I don't have anything concrete in terms of the companies to invest in yet.

I want to know what you believe in, and why.

TSLA is an obvious one that most future-oriented autists might bet on. So tell me, what are your hot takes...

Feels like anyone developing better batteries can only win. The market is basically infinite.
But of course so is the competition, so I'm guessing battery related ETFs might be safe if you don't trust yourself to bet on "the" next big player in the game?

I'm hoping that NIO can pull this off. They dipped quite a bit today, I bought a litle bit more. If they get it right they can do a TSLA.

Interesting. Any other ETFs/index funds you'd recommend? I'll have to dig deeper into it. I would prefer to invest in those than individual companies. Although if I can't find anything specific, I would try to make a portfolio of related companies.

I'm really fucking pissed. During the March crash, I got distracted by work and was too exhausted to invest. I would have made so much more money.

Now I'm trying to cut down on my normal work so I can focus on building a folio.

This is literally just me doing a Big Think (tm) about market trends. Beyond that I'm at the same stage as you, i.e. "digging deeper into it".
But I'm also anxious to part with my savings because the stock market seems due for a pretty bad crash for real this year.

Fuck this pandemic, how can I try to learn from market history when something literally unprecedented is still unfolding?!

True. Back in March, Zoom, Shopify etc. were just beginning to explode because everyone was at home. And airlines, brick-and-mortar shops, etc. were getting wrecked.

If this fucking pandemic fucks off a bit, then the inverse should start to happen.

It's just an extremely frustrating and volatile environment at the minute.
