QRD on the state of limit orders.
Currently only ETH-RBC pair, maximum volume of 3 ETH.
You place the order at the exchange rate you want with options to set an expiry date, make the order public etc. It can be filled in whole or in part like a normal order book trade by a counterparty, but will be automatically filled if the following conditions are met:
The market rate is such that you can purchase enough tokens to satisfy your desired exchange rate + gas fees + platform reward (0.15 ETH)
Your order hasn't expired.

This means that low value orders will never fill, as the market rate will never be good enough to pay the platform + gas fees. Even at the current 3 ETH maximum volume, the market rate will have to be ~6% better than your trade rate. This makes it pretty hard to test currently without burning a few hundred dollars.
Overall pretty useless with current fees until they increase volume limits, and even then you'll have to be a whale to have it execute when the market rate is actually at the trade rate you want. Hopefully they get L2 sorted to make this viable for swinging shitcoins and a UI rework to make it normie friendly.
