This site seems aight if youre canadian. I'm a burger and I almost ordered some plat from them but the shipping killed the deal. I think you can have your order shipped to one of their locations and pick it up to avoid that. Or maybe shipping within canada is free, cant remember. They have some decent prices last I checked, buffalo rounds were the cheapest silver they offered but they had some sick cast bars for a little more.

Hi, frens.
Newfag from slavic country here.
Planning to drop $5-10k in pms.
What should I buy? Gold or silver? (I have none, give me the ratio and short reasoning please).
Does manufacturer matter? (We have Argor, Pamp, Perth Mint, Credit Suisse, Valcambi, Umicore, and possibly others available in my city).
I've read some shills about COMEX fuckery that it can bankrupt any day and PMs will moonshot the next day. Is this true or wishful thinking?

So I'm doing my DD on the archive as usual and I found this post

>Bearing in mind everything that I have said, to what price might Bayhorse attain for somebody who buys it now, for a minuscule $20-million market cap?

>It is generally agreed that Bayhorse can produce 1.3 million silver ounces per annum. At an AISC of $10, this means that Bayhorse could conceivably go 100x at $60 silver. In other words, a $1000 investment would become $100,000.

>[1.3 million x 60 – 10 (50) = $65 million cash flow, x 30 = about a $2 billion market cap.)

>[1.3 million x 60 – 10 (50) = $65 mil...]

where does that (50) factor come from?

I'm surprised how cheap silver jewelry is. I got my ears pierced not too long ago and have been collecting sterling silver 925 stud earrings. The market is full of these earrings for well under $20. It doesn't ever get expensive unless you buy earrings that have a gem in them, in which case the price quickly flies up into the hundreds and thousands.

I have read that silver and gold are being artificially held down in value, it makes me wonder what a $20 pair of silver earrings (today) would be worth if silver were at its "true market value." And I wonder if the value of my collection will go up against inflation.

Yes, I am avoiding "silver plated." Don't worry.

Manufacturer sorta matters I guess. Some brands carry a premium and tend to be more "desirable" but generally silver is silver. Every brand you listed looks nice so you should be fine. The purity only differs between .999 and .9999 fine which doesnt matter at all imo. I think the COMEX default thing is probably way overblown but it would be pretty insane if it did happen. Dont count on it tho, there's an insane amount of money/power at play and unless they want it to happen it probably wont.

1 US nickel atm is worth $0.052
They will make a new coin composition and release new nickels either this or next year to fix this issue.
When that happens all old nickels will be worth a premium and their value will rise with the cost of copper. They'll get phased out of circulation by people searching for and collecting them similar to how people look for old pennies.
So buying a few $100 boxes of nickels from the bank wouldn't be the worst idea ever.

Mostly correct. But if a copper mine produces 2% Silver as byproduct and sells it into the market, if the demand for silver goes up by 20% that copper mine will not increase its copper production tenfold.

What this means is that significant increases in demand will need to be filled by companies that focus on precious metals mining, versus base metal mining. It hasn't been profitable for the past decade because of a brutal bear market for Silver, because it wasn't economical to mine. But if Silver remains above $20, lots of PM-focused miners will become profitable as some projects are profitable at $10-12/oz, though some majors have higher AISCs than that.

Hello, /pol/ here, about the silver stuff, I saw this posted there.
I'm not into this stuff, but it looks fishy. Is that analysis really correct?
Roman soldier earned 37 ounces of silver per year
US army private earned 724 ounces of silver per year
So, for the same duty, a soldier earned 19x more silver.
Isn't that inflation (19x in a few thousand years)? Because in all these years, more silver has been mined so there is more silver and it's value is also lower.
It's wrong to compare a current day unskilled wage in silver to a roman unskilled wage in silver, because of inflation.
If a current day minimum wage per day is $120, considering the silver inflation, the unskilled worker should get 0.1x19 silver ounces, so 1.9 silver ounces is 120$, so a silver ounce is correctly priced at $63 today, and not $1000?
I do not want to say that silver is not valuable, but I doubt it's value is actually 70 times more than what it's current value in dollars is, more like only 3-4 times more valuable.

This is just wrong.
They are 75% copper 25% nickel.
Total melt value of both of those metals is 5.2 cents.
If the value of copper in a nickle goes higher than 5 cents by itself without valuing the nickel, then you'll really start to see people grabbing them up.
It's the only US coin with a melt value anywhere near its face value atm, normally it like 10% of face value or under.

$90 for the bag of shit/$1700 oz spot price of gold = the bag contains less than 0.52 ounces of gold or less than 1.5 grams of gold. Now keep in mind that they want to make a profit so you gotta figure that there's a lot less than 1.5 grams in there, because the bag, the kitty litter, the gold, and their time are all not free.

You have to account for silver-inflation in conjunction with population growth, not in isolation. Calculate what a worker in Henry Ford's time made (1.6 troy ounces of silver per annum) in relation to its purchasing power in the dollars of the time ($2.25) and you find that he made about $80,000 a year in modern dollars. No wonder that a working man could afford a house, a car, and to provide for a stay-at-home wife and a large family.

By 1964 silver suppression was well underway, that's why a U. S. army private earned so much more than a Roman soldier.

you could be half way to a grow setup and never pay for weed again.
Even pokemon cards would have been better, at least other people want those.
He's stuck with that, probably can't even pawn it.

Are you under the drinking age for your area?
If not than it's only illegal to sell it without a distribution license and liquor license.
You can make as much as you want, give it away to friends etc. Just make sure none goes to minors and it's 100% legal.

good. I quit smoking because I had to buy more to keep doing it, and I won’t be buying more after this if you feel better about it. I’m just not selling it or flushing it away.

I wish I was that young. I knew people that made it in a couple different places over the years but they always acted like it was supposed to be a big secret even though they weren't selling it.
I didn't want to get put another type of watchlist for looking it either.

I’ve been renting and I’m too far North for a decent growing season for anything but autoflowers. I’m not growing indoors with a wife and 3 kids. when it’s viable to do outdoors or in a greenhouse, I will.

>I stopped drinking to buy more pms, every night
I first read this as "I stopped drinking to buy more penis every night."

But I know that feel. Had I spent HALF as much on alcohol and fast food, I could probably be retired now.

I remember selling granny's silver coins to a pawnshop for 4X FV n 1990.

Slightly over, I don't really care, I don't really get to spend my money on fun things like that, and I don't intend on making it a habit. Life is short, it's good to enjoy things that bring you joy, even if everyone else thinks it's stupid or gaudy or whatever.

He used poor notation. What he means is the profit per ounce to the mine is 60 (spot price) minus 10 (their cost to produce) = $50. So 50 x 1.3 is 65 million free cash flow.

You have no idea. Just do some digging on k or godforbid pol and you'll see the true extent of humanities depravity. Hell if you can overcome "well this specific race deserved to be bomb" and realize this could happen to you then the true fear will set in.
