Anybody with half a brain knew that Tesla is severely overvalued and that it has to come crashing down soon. I mean more valued than VW? Than Toyota? A fucking startup that relies on new inefficient technology and doesn't even have a fraction of the sales these two make?

If you've accepted nearly 30% losses already without a stoploss sale, you might just as well HODL and hope for eventual recovery. Once Daddy Elon gets autonomous vehicles out of the door the stonks will fly again.

finally I’m getting my chance to buy Tesla. Thanks for paper handing over a 1.5% bond yield, weaklings.

The Self driving tech will be worth a fortune alone. And it’s going to change the worlds economy massively.

>> No.30363267

Why not invest in real shit instead OP? You learned a valuable lesson but that doesn't mean you need to give up on the market completely.

Lmao. You buy something with a p/e over 1000 then complain when it drops. If you’re not capable of even the most basic analysis then you have no business buying individual stocks. Stick to index funds.

Can somebody explain to me why so many don't put stop losses near to their point of entry? Ive done it on most of my investments and have lost little to no money. Then just buy back in on the uptrend. I'm fairly new to it all, been investing a little here and there for just under a year. Am i going to get fucked over somehow with this strategy? Seems to be working well enough for me so far

Literally what i decided when I had to file my taxes. Apparently VIX is 1256 tax code so I have to do a separate form for that, dividends get their own worksheet too. Such nonsense. Let me just file it as capitol gains one and done.
