Just sold earlier today at a %50 loss. Lost about $15,000 on DNT. Sucks, but crypto is just too fast moving to be delusional about losses. I tried waiting, I really did...but it's just only going down.

To all the people ripping me for this post, It's continued it's downtrend and I could literally buy back in with my original stack for 150 sats less. I know you all are holders of DNT, and consequently biased towards it...but please keep an open mind.

I'm in no way emotionally attached to any coin out there, including this coin. I don't care how much is behind a coin, if I don't believe it will go up anymore, I'll sell.

Please don't let your greed blind you, and don't become emotionally attached to a coin. That is how you become a bagholder in the crypto world.

Did I take a huge loss? Yes. Do I think it will go up again? Yes.

Just not soon enough. The market is fast moving and there is constantly new money to be made. Parking part of my portfolio in something that will sit and dip, taking a long time to recover and make profit is inneficient compared to switching that same stack into something that will make money Now, then buy back into the original coin later for cheaper with a bigger stack if I want to. Or choose a new coin in general.

Hardly any coins have proven themselves to not be short term shitcoins besides the obvious top MC ones (btc, eth, ltc, etc).

Selling DNT at $0.20 made sense but riding it down to $0.10 and then unloading doesn't.

Actualizing it would be withdrawing the money into my bank account, and taking it out of the market. As of now, I can technically purchase the same amount of DNT I had earlier for less btc, and be in the exact same position.

The money is currently sitting in another coin which has already raised ~5% instead. At any point, I could do transfer stated above and continue my DNT position with a greater holding.

I know selling at the lowest point isn't very smart, but there's more to it than just apearing to be a bitch who cant wait through a dip. I'm positioning myself to possibly get a bigger position.

Let's talk about DNT.

So, the DNT token confers voting rights in Districts. Essentially, what the DNT token gives you is the power to have a say in how a district is run.

Now, given that this is a brand new concept, and there are only a handful of small districts in the works, why do you need to hold DNT now?

If the DNT platform succeeds, and if voting rights become valuable, you will have so much time to see it coming.

By definition, by the very nature of this platform, it will take a lot of time for districts to be established, grow, and then be adopted to the point where voting rights are valuable.

You will have all of that time to put your money in other coins and WAIT AND SEE if DNT is going to work.

And there's no guarantee it's going to work.

To put this into perspective, think of yourself as a potential district starter, not an investor.

Why would you choose to use the district0x platform?

Most importantly, as a district initiator

Does that appeal to you as someone who wants to start a project? Will that have wide appeal?

Even if you think it's going to work out, do you need to buy and hold tokens so early in the game?

To those who have bought in, and especially those who have bought in at a high and are holding expecting returns, please give mind to these broader issues facing the DNT platform.
