It is now illegal to conceal bitcoin and you will go to prison if you don't declare how many bitcoins you own. You are all so fucked.

(((Mrs.Feinstein))) said in her report. Go ahead read. I knew this would all end horribly. Did you really think the government would let bitcoin take over? Heh no way. I already cashed it all out. Enjoy being criminals I definitely don't want to break any laws.

Take a read: https://btcmanager.com/us-senate-bill-s-1241-criminalize-concealed-ownership-bitcoin/

Ok I get it that most cucks on 4 chan don't understand basic things about our government but heres a rundown for you. This bill was introduced in a hearing in the judiciary department. It is currently not scheduled to ever see the floor of the senate for further debate, nor has another hearing been scheduled. the senate takes another 3 month or so break here in about 2 weeks. When they get back it still won't be on the legislative agenda for about another 2 months because the republicans will be back trying to pass another piece of major legislation. Then another break. Then everyone is campaigning for midterm elections -- noones voting on this bill, because it's not a legislative priority for the majority party, it was introduced by a democrat. Then after the midterms end, they'll probably get around to looking at it assuming it's still on the legislative cycle, in which case it'll get bounced around with people addint amendments left right and center. And then maybe MAYBE it gets passed in summer 2019. Bottom line anyone shitting bricks right now is a retard.

Yes this kind of response is very predictable. It looks like governments are 'cracking down' but it is really the world- and reserve banks' doing. They own everything and wont lose that foothold withouta fight. They are threatened by crypto as they won't have any power if people own their own money.
Anyway anything they do really only effects crypto as long as goods trading is done in fiat. When you can run a bussiness without fiat the government can't do much except take you word for what your turnovers and expenses are. Hope I live to see that day.

You can actually, you are not allowed to lie in court about something. But you do have the right to remain silent or claim you forgot. This case is different however, you must also report all the income you make. You can't just claim you forgot, you do have the right to remain silent. But you still will face the consequences on whatever they are charging you.

What they can not do however is demand you hand over the private key to your money since that would be self incrimination.
