sort of off-topic but I had a really sad lucid dream this week:
I met this girl in my dream last night who I saw in the beginning of the dream and I decided to go in a car ride. At this point, I could control the scenery which was really cool. I made everything turn cartoon like and also had the car levitate. Then we just went on a bunch of adventures where I met her family who were all in theater, and at the end, we decided to slow dance in the theater itself with everyone else. It was honestly so romantic and fun. We got tired so after a minute we fell to the ground and just laid there next to each other. At this point, I somehow knew I was about to wake up. I turned to her and said I have to wake up now, and the look on her face broke my heart. She said I love you. And I thought about it and because she was in my head, I felt like this wasn't real, so I said I love you only for her benefit. But when I leaned in to kiss her, she turned away with hurt. She knew what I was thinking and at that point I felt so bad, so I tried to hug her and kiss him, calling her name but I swear to God, it's like she pushed me out of the dream before I could finish. I sat there awake, trying to go back, even trying to imagine the scenario in my head so we could finish but it was no use. I was fully awake at that point. I know it was just a dream but I still couldn't help but feel like I lost someone special and of course I cried.
I've been thinking about her all day now. Can't focus on anything.
