This is what's wrong with the youth these days. Back in my day saying this would get you blacklisted from the industry for life. It's all a me, me, me mentality. There is no way connecting with your collegues is gonna do the work much harm. You will probably get way more productive, earn company more money, which gives you bigger chances of growing further and even asking for a raise after a few years. But no you rather go home to play video games and playstations then to spend a few hours every week trying to better yourself.

No wonder your generation can't afford a house.

^ This. I literally pulled a George Castanza once.

Walked into a factory job that I didn't give a shit about and told them I had a bachelor's in Finance and an associates in buisness and accounting.

I was immediately placed under the CFO after a stupid IQ test which is basically illegal.

The position had nothing to do with stocks, bonds or trading/investing I'm general.

I bullshitted my way through the first couple days of training and was somehow eventually left alone. I lasted 4 weeks and then was called into the office by the CEO and HR.

They asked me if everything was going okay and why my paperwork made absolutely no sense whatsoever. I immediately said I quit, got up and walked out of the room.

I got payed for all 4 weeks.

It's a fucking COMPANY to make MONEY. You don't force networking amongst your staff. If anything it only generates more workplace related suits and conflicts. That is why you will NEVER have a AAA corporation. And every AAA Corp that doesn't see efficiency and liability as its predominant concerns is doomed to the trash heap. Too big to fail types included. You're doing okay now? Just wait til disgruntled worker Jimbob decides to take you to the cleaners because of social issue x, y, and z.

A jew worth his salt would not open himself up to such potential liability. That's the problem. It's boomers and new age zoombots doing this. Team building exercises are useless. You hold a meeting for sales or marketing, talking about your feelings is for the feedback box and that can be addressed at a scheduled meeting amongst various other trite issues that can be resolved. This tactic of pushing people who are not all compatible together into a forced exercise only builds contempt and breeds drama.

This is the key word. When you hear stats that say 50% of people or whatever lie on their resume, what they're really doing is exaggerating. That's perfectly normal and acceptable, in fact it's almost encouraged (you want to sell yourself, as they always say). What'll fuck you over (despite what neet LARPers on here say) is lying. Actually fabricating projects and experience is a serious enough violation that they will instantly fire you when they find out, even if it's years later.
